President of Ukraine Meets Mobster in White House

Last Friday, Ukraine President Volodomir Zelensky met a mafia don at the White House. This brutal two-on-one ambush by Donald Trumpf on the leader of a country fighting for is survival shocked even some Republicans in Congress.  

After being publicly embarrassed by France President Emmanuel Macron earlier in the week, the Mafia head of the US brought his vicious hillbilly lapdog (VPOTUS JD Vance) who he sicced on the ambushed Ukrainian President to outnumber him two-to-one:

This type of undiplomatic negotiation of threats, extortions, and unreasonable demands is right out of organized crime.

And like the infamous Al Capone pictured above who suffered from syphilis, there are rumors circulating that Donald Trumpf is suffering from the same sexually-transmitted disease.

Late night TV comedian Jimmy Kimmel made a reference to a 1990s interview in which Trumpf claimed to have avoided sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) as his “personal Vietnam.” Kimmel’s humorous take on this statement was: “But if he has syphilis, that would mean the only Vietnam he avoided was Vietnam.”

The mafioso bullied the President of Ukraine, yet look how Trumpf helped fellow rightwing ethnic-cleanser Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu into his chair at the White House last month.

The Aftermath

The multi-billion dollar mineral deal was not signed and the discussion of a path forward was cut short. Zelensky left the White House early and a press conference scheduled to take place after the meeting was canceled. After this appalling display of mafioso bravado, a Norwegian oil and shipping company has announced an immediate halt to fuel supplies for US military forces docking in the country’s ports. Haltbakk Bunkers, which supplied approximately 3,000,000 liters of fuel to the US military in 2024, issued a scathing statement on Facebook. “Today we have witnessed the greatest ‘sh*t show’ ever presented live on television, by the current American president and his vice president,” the company wrote. “Huge credit to the president of Ukraine for restraining himself and for keeping calm even though the USA put on a backstabbing TV show. It made us sick. Short and sweet.”

President Zelensky escaped the White House ambush and flew to the UK where he was properly greeted by PM Keir Starmer and King Charles. Starmer announced a four-point plan to work with Ukraine to end the war and to defend it from Russia.

And as for VPOTUS JD Vance who has been barely on the job for two months, he took his family to a skiing vacation in Vermont while thousands of fired federal civil servants are looking for employment. The VPOTUS and his family were met with an army of people who lined the streets and booed him.

EU and NATO countries without the US are going to continue funding and supporting Ukraine. The backlash of this mafioso approach to diplomacy will continue stinging the Trumpf regime. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced a willingness to both intermediate between Kiev and the Kremlin, as well as supply future peacekeepers into the area. Turkiye has the second largest military in NATO and their soldiers have gained experience in PKO and security missions overseas. Erdogan is also closing in on a permanent peace agreement with the outlawed PKK terrorist group, as well as increasing ties with the new Syrian government who he helped install.

Meanwhile, prison cells at the Hague both await ICC-indicted Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu.

EUROPOL: 25 Arrested for AI-Generated Child Exploitation

Europol has supported authorities from 19 countries in a large-scale operation against child sexual exploitation that has led to 25 arrests worldwide. The suspects were part of a criminal group whose members were engaged in the distribution of images of minors fully generated by artificial intelligence (AI). Operation Cumberland identified 273 suspects, arrested 25 suspects, conducted 33 house searches, and seized 173 electronic devices.

AI-created children make investigating genuine exploitations difficult. Also, photos of real children are uploaded into the AI computers by these nefarious perverts.

Trumpf sycophant US Attorney-General Pan Bondi chaotically released government files on Jeffrey Epstein which show that Donald Trumpf flew on Epstein’s private jets repeatedly during the 1990s. In 2002, Trumpf described sexual deviant Epstein as a “terrific guy.”  

The files did not disclose new information as flight logs naming Trumpf as a passenger on Epstein’s aircraft at least seven times had already been made public in a separate court case. There is no suggestion in the documents that the president engaged in any illegal acts. The first phase of the release is linked below.

“The Mexican government is stifling the Sinaloa Cartel. The organization founded by Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán has suffered severe blows to its most lucrative business in the last five years: the trafficking of fentanyl to the United States, controlled by the sons and heirs of the historic capo, Los Chapitos. Mexican security agencies, led by the army, have staged a strategic campaign of fentanyl seizures in Sinaloa, Sonora, and Baja California, Pacific states under the control of the cartel and which make up the production and transit chain of the opioid until it is trafficked to the U.S., mainly through the border at San Diego and Tucson. The seizure statistics demonstrate not only the rapid growth in the production and trafficking of the synthetic drug, especially in Sinaloa, but also the efforts of the Mexican government, at least since the middle of Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s six-year term, and even more so now, under the administration of Claudia Sheinbaum, to suffocate the cartel, particularly the heirs of El Chapo, who have also been waging a bloody internal war for months with another faction of the criminal organization loyal to Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada“.

The Texas Department of Agriculture has issued a warning to ranchers who operate near the Mexico border after a 74-year-old rancher from Brownsville, TX, with land across the border in Mexico has been killed from an improvised explosive device (IED). The device was allegedly planted by members of a drug cartel.

Antonio Cespedes Saldierna, who operated land on both sides of the border, along with Horacio Lopez Pena, were killed in the blast earlier in February in Tamaulipas, Mexico, about 80 miles south of Brownsville. Lopez’s wife, Ninfa Griselda Ortega, was hospitalized with injuries.

Last week, the US Justice Department announced that 29 wanted drug cartel suspects were extradited to the US. President Claudia Sheinbaum is balancing a tightrope between protecting Mexico’s sovereignty and not unleashing chaos on her people from the powerful drug cartels, all the while trying to uplift her people out of poverty and avoiding the wrath of Trumpf and his tariffs. If Americans stopped smuggling weapons to Mexico and reduced their insatiable desire for illegal drugs, life would improve on both sides of the Rio Grande River.

Besides a general warning to Mexicans visiting the US regarding police abuse, racism, or gun violence, Mexico has issued a warning to its citizens asking them not to travel to Texas and seven other states in the US due to a measles outbreak.

Mexico’s Health Secretary noted 106 cases of measles in the states of Alaska, California, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, New Mexico, Rhode Island, and in nine counties throughout Texas.

The Texas Health Department confirmed this week the death of a child who had contracted measles, the first such death in the US since 2015. One case of measles had been confirmed in the state of Chihuahua, which is located directly across the border from Texas. The Mexican state of Nuevo León, also south of Texas, is warning its residents not to travel to Texas unless they have received the measles vaccine.

The World Health Organization describes measles as a highly contagious, serious airborne disease caused by a virus that can lead to severe complications and death.

Remarkable that the supposedly less-developed country of Mexico has to issue a warning to her citizens to avoid travelling to the supposedly developed US because of a completely preventable disease (measles). Thanks to anti-vaxxer Robert Kennedy Jr, there are many Americans convinced that vaccines causes autism. Meanwhile, his first cousin Caroline reported that Kennedy himself secretly vaccinated his own children.

An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

With the imminent release of “The Age of Disclosure,” here is a look back at a Soviet UFO incident in 1986, a few months before the Chernobyl nuclear reactor disaster in Ukraine. NIH Study Links Gum Disease With Dementia

“The mouth is home to about 700 species of bacteria, including those that can cause periodontal (gum) disease. A recent analysis led by NIA scientists suggests that bacteria that cause gum disease are also associated with the development of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, especially vascular dementia.”

“Gum disease results from infection of the oral tissues holding teeth in place. Bleeding gums, loose teeth, and even tooth loss are the main effects of this disease. Bacteria and the inflammatory molecules they make can travel from infections in the mouth through the bloodstream to the brain.

The analysis revealed that older adults with signs of gum disease and mouth infections at baseline were more likely to develop Alzheimer’s during the study period. Among those 65 years or older, both Alzheimer’s diagnoses and deaths were associated with antibodies against the oral bacterium P. gingivalis, which can cluster with other bacteria such as Campylobacter rectus and Prevotella melaninogenica to further increase those risks.

A long-term follow-up for this study is needed because the findings suggest that oral infection preceded the diagnosis of dementia. After all, having dementia makes it more likely that an individual will not be able to brush and floss effectively, which increases the likelihood of such infections and gum disease.”

This study makes sense. Organs like the kidneys and liver filter out toxins before sending blood to the brain. But the gums have no natural filtering system and bacteria or virus can navigate slowly through capillaries, canals, and sinuses in the maxillofacial skeleton.

Through the gums, people can directly inject into their bloodstream the addictive chemicals found in chewing tobacco. America’s Godzilla Breaks US Laws Again

After Trumpf’s disastrous meeting on Friday with President Zelensky, he transported back to Florida boxes of documents that the FBI had seized from Mar-a-Lago after executing a court-ordered search warrant in August 2022.

“The Department of Justice has just returned the boxes,” Trumpf said in a statement. “They are being brought down to Florida and will someday be part of the Trump Presidential Library,” he said, going on to claim that “justice finally won out” and that the investigation into his mishandling of presidential documents, including highly sensitive classified documents, was “merely an attack on a political opponent.”

The classified documents case against Trump, in which he pleaded not guilty, was dropped in November after he won the 2024 election.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung, who said the boxes were loaded onto Air Force One, told reporters aboard the plane that the boxes contain “personal items that belong to the president.”

If the staff members in the photograph are not credentialed to transport US classified information, they too may be in violation of US laws regarding the secure transportation of classified documents. American national security, as well as the intelligence allies have shared with the US, are in dire jeopardy with Trumpf at the helm.

Donald Trumpf’s Moral and Mental Fitness in Question Again

Fellow Travelers: Your humble author is trying to keep up with the madness out of the White House, but this is becoming a daunting task.

President Donald Trumpf released an AI-generated video depicting a surreal vision for Gaza, reimagining the war-torn territory as a glitzy, Dubai-style resort, complete with towering skyscrapers — and a golden statue of himself. Felon Musk appears to be enjoying morsels and Trumpf and Benjamin Netanyahu are seen sun-bathing together.

Only a maniac could create such a film when the ashes in Gaza are still smoldering and an accurate death toll of Palestinians butchered by the IDF has not been finalized. Recall that Trumpf’s son-in-law, real estate developer Jared Kushner (a man who never worked a day in his life whose father is an ex-convicted) expressed an interest in modernizing the Gaza Strip (once the pesky Palestinians have been removed).

The lunacy continues. This month America’s Godzilla signed an executive order establishing a sovereign wealth fund (SWF) for the US, aiming to create one of the world’s largest such funds. Given the nation’s $36 trillion debt, the administration is exploring funding options, including the potential sale of federal public lands. Interior Secretary (and billionaire) Doug Burgum estimated these federal lands and natural resources could be worth up to $200 trillion. This approach has raised concerns about the preservation of public lands and their traditional uses, such as recreation and conservation.

Why should America’s working class enjoy inexpensive national parks when the oligarchs could extract the wealth from the land or charge people to enjoy nature while the wealthy fly off to their private resorts? And why conserve trees and fresh water when the world’s climate is doing just fine?

Trumpf’s Economic Plans Will Destroy the American People

America’s Godzilla has a budget plan that will rip health care away from millions while handing out $4.5 trillion in tax breaks, the overwhelming majority of which go to billionaires and wealthy corporations. Trumpf’s personnel and budget offices issued a memo to the leaders of all executive branch agencies directing them to submit “reorganization plans” within two weeks and prepare for large-scale firings.

When Dotard Trumpf fires all those people, in anti-Keynesian form he will reduce demand for consumer items, house and auto loans, and higher education. America’s Godzilla is ensuring that the oligarch class have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness with unneeded tax cuts, while the masses will have to look for jobs, shop for food at Dollaramas, sleep in cars or homeless shelters, find care for their elderly parents, or borrow money to pay medical bills.

Only somebody pathologically unempathetic or insane could think pauperizing millions of Americans is a formula for economic growth and success. Trumpf is only concerned about the welfare of these people below.

In keeping with Trumpf’s desire to accommodate the oligarchs, Godzilla is planning to introduce a new visa to attract them to America — something he is calling a “gold card.”

For $5 million, oligarchs will be able to apply to become lawful permanent residents. Trumpf said the program would be rolled out in two weeks, would bring in “very high-level people,” and said the proceeds from the program could help pay down the deficit.

With the US government no longer investigating or sanctioning Russian oligarchs, what an ingenious method of getting them American citizenship.

Every year thousands of poor refugees try to make their way to America for a better life, some dying, some losing their entire savings, only to have Trumpf turn them back. The US was built on the blood and bones of immigrants for centuries. Worse, many immigrants have fought and died for the US military as pathway to citizenship.

An Iraq War veteran thrice-over who has lived in the US for nearly 30 years has been detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Arizona, sparking outrage among local leaders. Marlon Parris, a legal resident, was arrested on 22 Jan while on his way to an ATM, despite having a “Letter of No Interest” from ICE.

Marlon Parris, originally from Trinidad and Tobago, entered the US in the late 1990s. Only a few years after entering the US, Parris joined the US Army, becoming one of the first deployed to Iraq after 9/11. Legal aid may save him yet from deportation.

America’s Godzilla wants to see a “whitification” of the US with his deportation plans while bringing in wealthy foreign oligarchs. Trumpf’s complete lack of empathy for non-whites, the down-trodden, handicapped people, or the poor, Palestinians, America’s natural resources, reflect an absolute void in humanity. An amoral creature occupies the White House that 49.8% of the American people voted in. In true fascist format, Trumpf will not allow liberal or “hostile’ journalists into the White House. When the economy falls into recession, unemployment soars, food and fuel prices soar, and more die from spreading diseases and gun violence, who will affected Republican voters blame?

Vladimir Putin is pleased with the way his protege is dismantling America from within.

US National Security in Dire Jeopardy

Several staffing moves of the Trumpf administration has been intentionally done to weaken US national security.

First, the ODNI.

Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, has moved to fire more than 100 intelligence officers over explicit chats they allegedly sent around in an internal agency messaging board. Gabbard spearheaded a directive to oust the individuals who partook in the explicit conversations using the National Security Agency’s (NSA) “Intelink” platform. 

“There are over 100 people from across the intelligence community that contributed to and participated in … what is really just an egregious violation of trust,” Gabbard said.

NSA said in a Tuesday statement that the agency is aware of the posts that “appear to show inappropriate discussions” by personnel in the intelligence community (IC), and an internal probe is underway. 

As Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard overseas the entire USIC. But the ODNI was created to prevent another 9/11 attack on the US. In 2000, CIA was aware of an Al-Qaida plot to attack the US and FBI agents were monitoring Al-Qaida suspects taking flying lessons in Florida. But both agencies didn’t share their sensitive information with each other and hence the creation of the ODNI.

Gabbard is using this “Intelink” scandal has an excuse to purge the USIC of LGBTQ personnel. Her mission as DNI is to oversee the smooth facilitation of intelligence between the agencies, not impede it or demoralize it. USIC personnel must undergo periodic counterintelligence investigations and polygraphs to ensure their employment fitness and loyalty to the US government. Coriolanus has worked with several LGBTQ personnel in the USIC and they were just as loyal and patriotic as anyone else. Intelink, which Coriolanus has used, is basically an internal “Google” platform for the USIC that is constantly monitored. If system abuse occurred on Intelink, there is no reason to fire experienced these analysts, code breakers, linguists, or investigators which cost the American taxpayer money to recruit, vet, and train.

This is just an excuse to rid the USIC regime of non-white, non-heterosexual personnel.

Second, the FBI.

Besides the stunning confirmation of immensely under-qualified Kash Patel as Director, which is a ten-year appointment, the Deputy Director is former USSS agent and tattooed rightwing podcaster Dan Bongino.

Described as an “unqualified henchman,” Bongino has spent years publicly criticizing the agency he will now help run, pushing conspiracy theories about corrupt FBI leadership and agents who were out to get President Donald Trumpf.

His appointment as deputy marks the first time in the FBI’s 117-year history that the second-in-command post has not been held by one of its senior agents.

It further increased fears – already high following Patel’s confirmation as director – that the administration would attempt to use the bureau to pursue its political enemies.

“Donald Trumpf just named far-right MAGA podcaster Dan Bongino, a notorious conspiracy theorist who promoted the lie that the 2020 election was ‘stolen,’ to serve as Deputy Director of the FBI. God help us all,” posted the X account Republicans Against Trumpf.

Third, the man on top.

Mystery Illness Kills 50 in Democratic Republic of Congo

An unknown illness first discovered in three children who ate a bat has rapidly killed more than 50 people in northwestern Congo over the past five weeks.

The interval between the onset of symptoms – which include fever, vomiting and internal bleeding – and death has been 48 hours in most cases.

These “hemorrhagic fever” symptoms are commonly linked to known deadly viruses, such as Ebola, dengue, Marburg and yellow fever, but researchers have ruled these out based on tests of more than a dozen samples collected so far.

The latest disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo began on 21 Jan with 419 cases recorded and 53 deaths. The outbreak began in the village of Boloko after three children ate a bat and died within 48 hours.

There have long been concerns about diseases jumping from animals to humans in places where wild animals are popularly eaten. The number of such outbreaks in Africa has surged by more than 60% in the last decade, the WHO said in 2022.

After the second outbreak of the mystery disease began in the village of Bomate on 9 Feb, samples from 13 cases were sent to the National Institute for Biomedical Research in Congo’s capital, Kinshasa, for testing, the WHO said. All samples were negative for common hemorrhagic fever diseases, although some tested positive for malaria. Last year, another mystery flu-like illness that killed dozens of people in another part of Congo was determined likely to be malaria.

Bats are basically virus reservoirs, immune to the pathogens they unintentionally carry. In DRC, poverty, food insecurity, and mass internal refugees are contributing to the spread of these zoonotic diseases.

Belgium: China Hacked Intelligence Service

The Belgian federal prosecutor started a probe into alleged Chinese hacking of Belgium’s intelligence service VSSE in Nov 2023. The prosecutor added that it had received an accusation filed by VSSE in relation to the case.

Hackers allegedly linked to Chinese espionage had exploited a breach in an American cyber company and gained access to 10% of the Belgian intelligence service’s emails. While classified data remained safe, the personal information of nearly half of the Belgian service’s members may have been compromised.

Belgian counterintelligence services have their hands full as Brussels is a hotspot for espionage with so many international organizations based there, including NATO and the EU. Besides dealing with organized crime, Russian spies, and the potential of jihadist terrorism as a former colonial power, the VSSE must contend with Chinese espionage and an untrustworthy ally in the US. That an American cyber company was involved in the breach is not a surprise as these contractors have been previously cited in the US for poor security protocols in their systems.

Afghanistan: Taliban Using Modern Surveillance Systems

The BBC reports:

“In a crowded control center, surrounded by dozens of TV screens, the Taliban’s police force proudly shows off its newly-acquired network of 90,000 CCTV cameras – used to watch over the day-to-day lives of millions of people.

“We monitor the entire city of Kabul from here,” says Khalid Zadran, a spokesperson for the Taliban police chief, pointing to one of the screens.

The authorities say such surveillance will help fight crime, but critics fear it will be used to clamp down on dissent and to monitor the strict morality code enforced by the Islamist Taliban government under their interpretation of Sharia law.

The BBC are the first international journalists allowed to see the system in action.

Inside the control room, police officers sit in rows watching the live streams from thousands of cameras, keeping tabs on the lives of the six million people who live in Kabul.

From car license plates to facial expressions, everything is monitored.”

The Taliban apparently monitor their own personnel with these cameras. Human rights groups are concerned that this unwarranted surveillance will be used to suppress dissent, especially against women who are forced to wear face coverings when in public and are prevented from employment or higher education. No doubt the cameras are from China who has established ties with Kabul and opened a rail link into the landlocked country.

Ukraine-Russia Update

Spy Convicted for Treason

The Security Service of Ukraine reported the conviction of an unnamed 33-year-old resident of the city of Novohrodivka, Donetsk region, who worked for the Russian FSB and passed on intelligence on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Detained last year, the court sentenced her to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The investigation established that the FSB agent passed to the enemy the geolocations of fortified areas, checkpoints and artillery positions of Ukrainian troops in the hottest direction of the front — Pokrovske.

To collect information, the traitor traveled hundreds of kilometers in fixed-route taxis to the areas of Kurakhove, Myrnohrad, Novohrodivka, Selydove and Mykhailivka, where she covertly recorded the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and transmitted their coordinates to her Russian handler via messenger.

Russian Antiwar Critic Arrested

Independent Russian film critic Ekaterina Barabash was placed under house arrest by a Moscow court for posting “fake news” on her Facebook account about the war in Ukraine, her son Yurii Barabash reported on Facebook on 26 Feb.

Detained by the Russian Investigative Committee on 23 Feb, Barabash will remain under house arrest until April 25. The Russian Investigative Committee, which is supposed to probe serious federal crimes, claimed in a Telegram post on 26 Feb that Barabash “admitted her guilt in full” during an interrogation.

Crackdowns on freedom of expression in Russia have only intensified since the start of Moscow’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

Born in Kharkiv, Barabash is the daughter of a famous Ukrainian literary scholar. For speaking out in support of Ukraine fighting against a war of total annihilation, the 63-year-old could face a financial fine of up to five million rubles ($57,500) or up to ten years in prison.

Over 10,000 Ukrainian Youth Apply for Military Contracts

Ukraine’s military has received over 10,000 applications from volunteer recruits aged 18 to 24 following the introduction of lucrative “special contracts.”

The contracts, aimed at recruiting additional military personnel who are not subject to mobilization, provide a number of benefits, including a Hr 1 million ($24,000) annual salary, 0% interest mortgage rates, and free higher education.

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry also said those who complete one year of service would be allowed to travel abroad. Currently, with a few exemptions, all men aged 18-60 are prohibited from travelling overseas while martial law is in place.

US lawmakers and NATO allies have continuously urged Ukraine to lower its draft age from 25 to 18 to address manpower shortages. Currently, Ukrainian men aged 25 to 60 are subject to conscription. But you previously read here on Coriolanus, Ukrainians are loathe to send young men under 25 to war as this is their weakest demographic cadre after the fall of the USSR and subsequent mass exoduses.

Mexico Extradites 29 Drug Traffickers to US

Mexico has extradited 29 drug traffickers who were being held in different prisons across the country to the US on Thursday, according to the Mexican attorney general’s office. Among the 29 are the former leaders of the Los Zetas cartel, Miguel Ángel and Omar Treviño Morales, known as Z-40 and Z-42. As well as Rafael Caro Quintero, former head of the Guadalajara Cartel, and José Ángel Canobbio, alias El Güerito, a lieutenant of Los Chapitos, one of the factions of the Sinaloa Cartel.

The extraditions come in the midst of negotiations between Mexico and the US, due to Washington’s intention to apply a 25% tariff on Mexican exports. Since he took office on 20 January, US President Donald Trumpf– America’s Godzilla — has threatened several times to apply the levy on the entry of Mexican products into the country, a threat based on drug trafficking north of the border, mainly in the form of fentanyl, and the migratory flow that reaches the southern US states. America’s Godzilla reiterated that the tariffs will be applied as of 4 Mar, after a one-month moratorium.

The newly-elected and popular President Sheinbaum is on a tight-rope, balancing dealing with America’s Godzilla to the north who is threatening her country with punitive economic sanctions, while upholding Mexico’s cherished sovereignty, uplifting her people out of poverty, and not offending the dangerous drug cartels. The tragedy of her position is that the fault lies with the US, not Mexico. America’s insatiable demand for drugs, particularly fentanyl, is fueling organized crime on both sides of the border. Moreover, the flow of illegal weapons into Mexico from the US is fueling an abominable homicide rate in her country. The Mexican people call it the “Iron River.” There is only one firearm store in the entirety of Mexico, located on a military base outside the capital, yet globally, Mexico is one of six countries with the highest level of firearm mortality. These weapons originate in the US and Mexico has threatened lawsuits against US firearm manufacturers. As you read here on Coriolanus, 2,600 Americans have been arrested in Mexico over the last six years for various offenses involving smuggling and organized crime.

Footnote: The previous President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador travelled without a professional bodyguard detail for the entire length of his five-year tenure without a single incident. Below he was photographed with his commercial plane stuck on a tarmac. Whether President Sheinbaum will employ a bodyguard detail from the Mexican Army after the extraditions of these cartel members is not clear.

Followers of the Watch, Coriolanus is doing his utmost best to keep up with the chaos caused by Vladimir Putin’s protege in the White House, Donald Trumpf (AKA America’s Godzilla).

France President Emmanuel Macron visited the White House and publicly corrected Donald Trumpf about who started the war and European economic support for Ukraine during the past three years of Russia’s brutal invasion. On camera America’s Godzilla lied twice and this meme below captured the exchange perfectly. The link at bottom will take you to the video.

The Dotard-in-Chief reiterated his desire to annex Canada and has vowed to press ahead with 25% tariffs on imports from the country when a one-month reprieve elapses on 4 March. Peter Navarro, a top White House official and convicted felon, proposed expelling Canada from the Five Eyes intelligence-sharing network to increase pressure on the country.

In addition, Godzilla roared that he would strip security clearances from lawyers at a prominent Washington law firm aiding former Special Counsel Jack Smith, the man who investigated him. Trumpf demanded a review of any federal government work Covington & Burling may have, intensifying his bid to truculently punish his enemies.

Covington & Burling employs high-profile Democratic lawyers who worked in the Obama and Biden administrations. Signing executive orders before reporters in the Oval Office, the twice-impeached and convicted Dotard-in-Chef described the plan to reporters and offered to childishly send the pen he used to Jack Smith, who led two investigations against him as Special Counsel.

To the dismay and shock of thousands of FBI agents, Trumpf hired an unqualified rightwing former podcast propagandist to be Deputy Director. The former USSS agent, Dan Bongino, once called the FBI “irredeemably corrupt. Kash Patel then re-assigned hundreds of FBI agents from Washington, scattering them throughout the US. Across the Potomac River, CIA personnel are conducting damage assessment after a White House email about civil service layoffs appeared to compromise the names of certain undercover officers.

This damage control, reported CNN, is “just one of multiple aftershocks from President Donald Trump’s push to take a jackhammer to the federal government — including the CIA. The administration’s efforts to cut the workforce and audit spending at the CIA and elsewhere threaten to jeopardize some of the government’s most sensitive work, current and former US officials familiar with internal deliberations say.”

As Dame Agatha Christie once wrote: “Who benefits from this crime?” All of these moves by Donald Trumpf benefit Vladimir Putin. Godzilla is weakening America’s internal and external security apparatuses. By relocating FBI agents outside Washington, Trumpf reduces any resistance forces nearby while also making life easier for foreign espionage assets to operate in the National Capital Region (NCR). By alienating Canada and other allies, Putin is watching NATO beginning to fracture. Putin will continue to fund the rightwing in Europe who will parrot his lines about the evils of Ukraine and NATO. Trumpf’s audacious and offensive behavior towards Canada has galvanized their population on both sides of the aisle and their imminent elections will present an anti-Trumpfer from either the Conservative or Labor Party. The international intelligence-sharing architecture once headed by the US presents another separate dilemma. NATO, the remaining Five-Eyes partners, Japan, and South Korea will limit intelligence-sharing with the US. Israel’s Mossad may also be leery about sharing sensitive information with the US. Bilateral intelligence sharing programs exclusive of the US will probably be the way ahead for the Western powers.

What will Trumpf target next? Medicare? VA benefits? Social security? Mexico?

Israel Charges Two IDF Reservists with Espionage on Behalf of Iran

Two IDF reservists Yuri Eliasfov (22) and Georgi Andreyev (21) were charged with collaborating with an Iranian foreign agent known as “Boaz” and carrying out actions intended to harm Israel’s national security.

Eliasfov is accused of aiding an enemy in war, providing information that could benefit the enemy, contact with a foreign agent, aggravated forgery and other offenses. Andreyev is charged with contact with a foreign agent, vandalism and tampering with evidence. Neither has a previous criminal record.

According to the indictment filed in Haifa District Court, Eliasfov served as a technician in the Iron Dome air defense system and later during his reserve service, while Andreyev was a technician at the Israeli Air Force’s operations center and also served in reserves. The two have been friends for years.

The two spray-painted pro-Iranian graffiti in public places across Israel in exchange for $100 in cryptocurrency, photographed the creation and sent the images to “Boaz” before erasing part of the text.

Eliasfov allegedly sent “Boaz” blurred images of sites he claimed were military locations, receiving payment. He later offered to sell him weapons.

Between November 1-3 last year, while on reserve duty, Eliasfov recorded the Iron Dome radar screen, capturing classified data on the system’s location. He sent “Boaz” an edited clip containing highly classified information and offered the full video for $10,000, demanding an $800 advance payment.

During his compulsory service, Eliasfov allegedly took eight photos of Iron Dome’s computer systems containing classified data and stored them on his phone, knowing they were highly confidential.

“Boaz” reportedly believed Eliasfov was a commander in the IDF’s elite Egoz unit with military connections. The Iranian agent expressed interest in Israeli Air Force bases, aircraft and specifically Nevatim Airbase, targeted in an Iranian attack last October.

The espionage war between Israel and Iran will continue along with their state of belligerency. Note that Iranian anti-Israeli attitudes intensified after Israel’s invasion of southern Lebanon in the early 1980s which killed thousands of Shiites and led to the creation of Lebanese Hezbollah. When the Shah of Iran was in power, both CIA and Mossad worked and trained the Peacock Throne’s notorious security service, the SAVAK. As you previously read here on Coriolanus, in 2024 Israel’s security services previously rendered ineffective a few other Iranian spy rings. These two suspects are Ashkenazi Jews with Slavic names, like some of the other spies netted by the Shin Bet.

An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Ukraine’s Schools Preparing Next Generation to Defend Itself from Russia

In a small town in Kyiv Oblast, 10th grader Alina Marynenko just beat her entire class to be the most accurate shooter on an AK-47 simulator.

“Fourteen out of fifteen! I set a record! We beat the boys!” Marynenko yells out to her class.

Marynenko and her classmates fired the simulated weapon during a “Defense of Ukraine” lesson, an experimental course part of a wider educational reform passed after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

The course has been part of the Ukrainian school curriculum since Soviet times, also known over the years as “Pre-Conscription Training” and “Defense of the Homeland.” If before 2022, the subject was seen as obsolete, hardly taken seriously by students who at times saw it more as an opportunity to goof off, Russia’s all-out aggression has given it a new life.

The program’s backers maintain they are not aiming to train 16 and 17-year-olds to be soldiers, but preparing them for a reality where Russian aggression is ongoing, with no clear end in sight.

Similarly and sadly, the Kremlin is militarizing their youth as well. In 2024, the Russian state introduced a mandatory discipline for middle and high school called the “Fundamentals of Security and Defense of the Motherland.” For about 60 years, Soviet schoolchildren assembled and disassembled assault rifles, learned how to put on gas masks, and provided first aid during the lessons of “Basic Military Training” (BMT). This subject was removed from the school curriculum in the late 1980s and replaced with FLS.

Ukrainian Intelligence Chief: “Putin Wants All of Warsaw Pact Back”

Ukraine’s intelligence director Kyrylo Budanov warns Russia views itself as an empire seeking to reclaim former Soviet territories, with Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Bulgaria as targets if Ukraine is defeated.

“Russia doesn’t see itself as a federation—it sees itself as an empire. The model its leadership envisions is a version of the Soviet Union that includes former Warsaw Pact countries. This won’t change if the worst-case scenario unfolds.” 

According to him, absorbing these nations is Russia’s “minimum objective” in its imperial ambitions.

“If we fall, Poland is next. I’m saying this outright—not to instill fear, but to make it clear. Then will come for the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Bulgaria. A full rollback.” 

Despite Moscow’s claims of openness to negotiations, Russia continues its relentless aerial attacks on Ukraine.

Budanov added that Russia has received 120 long-range self-propelled artillery pieces and 120 multiple launch rocket systems from North Korea.

The DPRK has already supplied this equipment to the Russian troops and they have begun to use it. We are talking about 120 self-propelled artillery systems of 170 mm caliber and 120 MLRS of 240 mm caliber.

“These are quite impressive numbers,” the DIU chief emphasized.

He added that “it’s another question altogether” how much more North Korean weapons are being supplied to Russia. The intelligence chief noted that the DPRK provides the occupiers with 49% of 122-152 mm artillery ammunition and 122 mm MLRS rockets.

ICC-indicted war criminal Vladimir Putin’s Nakba against Ukraine has cost his country dearly. According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, Russia has lost 870,700 troops since the beginning of its full-scale invasion on 24 Feb 2022.

This number includes 1,170 casualties Russian forces suffered just over the past 36 hours.

According to the report, Russia has also lost 10,201 tanks, 21,183 armored fighting vehicles, 38,702 vehicles and fuel tanks, 23,686 artillery systems, 1,299 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,085 air defense systems, 370 airplanes, 331 helicopters, 26,961 drones, 28 ships and boats, and one submarine.

Donald Trumpf sanctioned the ICC in an effort to remove the international arrest warrants for Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu.

If a ceasefire or peace is arranged, Ukraine will walk away from this conflict much like Japan and Finland did after their wars with the much larger Russia: combat-experienced and esteemed in the eyes of the international community. Russia and Ukraine might look like North and South Korea, two highly-militarized states at stone’s throw of each other. But genuine negotiations between Kiev and Moscow have not yet begun. US and Russian envoys discussing the future of Ukraine in Saudi Arabia without their presence was a poor sign of imperial arrogance. When someone asks what’s for dinner, this usually means it’s them. Either way, Putin’s goal of absorbing Ukraine into his fold have so far failed. And how much longer can Putin and Trumpf live? Will their successors want to maintain this ideal of a “Greater Russia”? As long as Europe can keep supporting Kiev without the US, Ukraine can outlast her enemies.

Dead Body Placed Beside Australian Couple on Qatar Airways Flight for Four Hours

An Australian couple have spoken of the “traumatic” moment the body of a dead passenger was placed next to them on a Qatar Airways flight. Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin, who were travelling to Venice for a dream holiday, said a woman died in the aisle beside them during the flight from Melbourne to Doha. The couple say cabin crew sat her corpse, which was covered in blankets, next to Mr Ring for the remaining four hours of the flight and did not offer to move him, despite there being empty seats. Qatar Airways said it apologized for “any inconvenience or distress this incident may have caused,” adding that it was in the process of contacting passengers.

Qatar Airways crew stated the deceased passenger was too large to move to the vacant seats in business class. But this large passenger was able to squeeze her way into economy class? Perhaps the crew didn’t want to upset the oligarchs enjoying Business Class. And in case you missed it, this week there was another aviation incident when a private jet entered the runway without authorization from air traffic control resulting in a near-miss in Chicago. North Korean Hackers Steal Record $1.5 Billion in Single Crypto Hack

North Korean hackers have stolen $1.5 billion in cryptocurrency in a single heist, making it the largest crypto hack on record..

The hackers struck Bybit, which describes itself as the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange, with over 40 million users.

In a matter of minutes on Friday, the hackers stole a significant portion of North Korea’s reported annual gross domestic product. And over the weekend, the hackers were already laundering about $160 million of the stolen loot through a series of accounts connected to North Korean operatives, according to crypto-tracing firm TRM Labs. In a single hack, the North Koreans have nearly doubled what they stole in crypto last year, the firm said.

In addition to hacking, North Korea makes money by producing and selling illegal drugs, counterfeit consumer goods and currency, and human/arms/wildlife trafficking. Pyongyang added to its coffers by keeping the salaries of the soldiers it sent to fight and die in Russia, as well as by selling weapons to Moscow. Trumpf Continues Purging Pentagon of Competent Leadership to Putin’s Delight

President Donald Trumpf continued purging the Defense Department of experienced, capable leaders through his inept and alcoholic SECDEF “Whiskey Pete” Hegseth. The latest victim is a 40-year veteran of the US Navy and someone easily qualified to be the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Staff CJCS). Admiral Lisa Franchetti spent roughly half of her 40-year career at sea, commanding a destroyer, two carrier strike groups and the US Sixth Fleet. She was the first female officer to rise to the Navy’s top job of Chief of Naval Operations.

The announcement came in a statement emailed to reporters Friday night, shortly after President Trumpf said he was firing Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

“Whiskey Pete” Hegseth said in his statement that he would also replace Gen. James C. Slife, the Air Force’s vice chief of staff, as well as the top uniformed lawyers for the Army, Navy and Air Force.

Trumpf and Hegseth are firing competent commanders because they are minorities and competent and will weaken US national security. The purge of civilian and military inspectors-general, as well the military’s top lawyers, signals a dark future era of unaccountability within the DOD which already has trouble with contractor corruption, bribery, cost overruns, etc. Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, and Sailors fighting discrimination will not find sympathetic voices with the Trumpf-Hegseth appointed Inspector-Generals or Judge Advocate Generals (JAGs).

Putin’s media mouthpieces are in a lather of excitement over Trumpf’s recent moves, including abandoning Ukrainian President Volodomir Zelensky.

The US proposed its own UN resolution marking the third anniversary of Russia’s war in Ukraine after refusing to back one drafted by Kiev and backed by Europe. Secretary of State Marco Rubio described it as “a simple, historic resolution … that we urge all member states to support in order to chart a path to peace.”

The draft US resolution does not condemn Russia as the aggressor in the conflict, nor does it make any acknowledgement of Ukraine’s territorial integrity. “This resolution is consistent with President Trumpf’s view that the UN must return to its founding purpose, as enshrined in the UN Charter, to maintain international peace and security, including through the peaceful settlement of disputes,” Rubio’s statement said.

No wonder Russian President Vladimir Putin is thrilled with his intelligence asset, America’s Godzilla, who is destroying US institutions through DOGE, appointing incompetent cabinet secretaries, while firing thousands of capable civil servants in health, aviation safety, forestry management, agricultural surveillance, environmental protection, and nuclear weapons security.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he was willing to step down if it meant peace in Ukraine. His remark came days after President Trumpf questioned his legitimacy and called him a “dictator without elections,” echoing a Kremlin talking point.

“If it brings peace to Ukraine, and if you need me to step down — I am ready,” Mr. Zelensky said during a news conference on Sunday, on the eve of the third anniversary of the war. “Second, I can exchange this for NATO.”

This is a highly unlikely scenario given Trumpf’s opposition to allowing Ukraine into the military alliance. EU leaders are meeting for an extraordinary summit on 6 Mar to discuss additional support for Ukraine, European security guarantees and how to pay for European defense needs.

Cuban mercenaries have been fighting for Russia, like Frank Dario Jarrosay Manfuga (36) above who joined Russia’s army in Jan 2024 and was captured in Mar 2024.

A former geography teacher he later became a professional musician to increase his income.
“I never intended to kill anyone. I never wanted to participate in a war. I have a family,” said Manfuga, who claimed he was tricked into boarding a Russia-bound plane with the promise of a job in construction. He has no desire to return to Russia or Cuba and Manfuga’s claim that he was duped could not be verified.

An estimated 5,000 Cuban soldiers are fighting for Russia,” Orlando Gutierrez-Boronat, co-founder of the Cuban Democratic Directorate, a US-based NGO advocating for democratic change in communist Cuba reported. “This network could not function without the Cuban regime’s approval.” Unlike North Koreans, Cuban fighters in Russia have left a significant social media footprint, with many openly embracing the Kremlin’s militarism and ideology.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has promoted Sergei Atroshchenko, who ordered the bombing of a drama theater in Mariupol on 16 Mar 2022, to the rank of Major-General.

Ukrainian Security Services Prevent Assassination

The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police detained a saboteur who prepared a terrorist attack in the center of Odessa on 20 Feb.

The saboteur set up an IED near the car of the special prosecutor. Law enforcement officers pursued and detained the perpetrator, an 18-year-old resident of Odessa. He was recruited by Russian intelligence through a Telegram channel in search for “easy” money. On the instructions of the Russian special services, the saboteur personally constructed an improvised explosive device (IED) with a capacity of 300g in TNT equivalent.

To increase the lethality, the suspect stuffed the explosives with metal nuts and planted it under the military prosecutor’s car. Opposite the “target”, the attacker installed a hidden mobile phone with a remote access function for the FSB. Later, the Russian special service remotely activated the explosives, injuring a passer-by.

During exploitation of the crime scene, a mobile phone with evidence of his communication with his Russian handlers was seized from the detainee.

President Zelensky is capable, competent, and clever, a genuine national leader who cares about the future of his people. Ukrainian secret services continue to thwart Russian assassination attempts within their homeland. This suspect, like other young miscreants, prepared the IED for money, not out of love for Mother Russia or hatred of Ukraine. No doubt that Major-General Sergei Atroshchenko is on the Special Prosecutor’s list or in the cross-hairs of the Ukrainian espionage network for either justice or vengeance. Ukrainian military intelligence has previously liquidated HVT war criminals within Russia. The case of the Cuban mercenaries underscores their need for money and loyalty to Russia, as well as demonstrating that Moscow still needs manpower. Lastly, the question of American mercenaries fighting for Russia emerges as some are fugitives from US justice. How will they be treated by the US government at the end of hostilities?

US Bloodbath: No End in Sight to America’s Undeclared War on Itself

In the past 48 hours several shootings terrorized and killed American citizens, including police officers, throughout different parts of the US.

Louisville, Kentucky

Three people were shot and killed in a parking lot outside a driver’s licensing office in Louisville, Kentucky. A male victim died at the scene while two female victims died at a hospital. No suspect is in custody and the shooter fled the scene. Authorities didn’t discuss any potential connection between the victims.

“There does not seem to be a public threat,” police said at a news conference, even though the murderer was on the loose.

In an average year, 827 people die and 1,857 are wounded by guns in Kentucky. The Bluegrass State has the 11th-highest rate of gun violence in the US. Gun deaths and injuries cost Kentucky $9.6 billion each year, of which $183.4 million is paid by taxpayers. In Kentucky, 54.6% of adults have firearms at home. Licenses in 2021: 108,833

York, Pennsylvania

Officer Andrew Duarte died while responding to a 10:43AM call about an active threat at UPMC Hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

No patients were injured during the shooting, and the five-story, 104-bed hospital has been secured, according to a statement by Pennsylvania State Police. It’s unclear if there were any other injuries.

“At this time, the shooter is deceased and there is no danger to the public. The hospital is secured,” police said.

In an average year, 1,759 people die and 4,020 are wounded by guns in Pennsylvania. The Keystone State has the 20th highest rate of gun violence in the US. Pennsylvania firearm licenses in 2021: 348,167. An estimated 40.7% of adults in Pennsylvania have guns in their homes.

Virginia Beach, Virginia

Police Officers Christopher “Chris” Reese and Cameron Girvin were shot while conducting a traffic stop at Sylvan Court at approximately 2330 Friday evening.

“While on patrol Officer Reese and Officer Girvin observed a car with an expired plate and executed a traffic stop. During the traffic stop the officers asked the subject to exit the vehicle and the subject refused; when finally exiting the vehicle the subject “tussled” with the officers and immediately produced a pistol, shooting both Officer Reese and Officer Girvin. While the officers were incapacitated and on the ground, the subject shot each officer a second time and then fled the scene. The subject was found in a shed near the initial scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

First responders attempted life-saving procedures and both officers were transported to local hospitals but would succumb to their wounds.”

Nota Bene: Coriolanus does not like the use of the word “tussled” as any local or federal judge would immediately question the definition of the word and what exactly transpired between the police officers and the suspect (who was later found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound).

In an average year, 1,065 people die and 1,911 are wounded by guns in Virginia. Around 44.6% of adults in Virginia have guns at home. Federal firearm licenses: 423,707.

Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico

Security Forces members assigned to the 377th Security Forces Squadron responded to an incident at approximately 2AM Saturday, 22 Feb resulting in a shooting incident. One Airman received a nonfatal gunshot wound to the hand and was transported to UNM Medical Center for treatment. He has since been released with no life-threatening injuries.

The other Airman was found dead at the scene. The cause of death and the incident remains under investigation by local authorities. The Air Force Office of Special Investigations was leading the probe along with the FBI and Albuquerque PD. Authorities said there is currently no threat to the public, even though the suspect remains at large.

In an average year, 433 people die and 618 are wounded by guns in New Mexico. The “Land of Enchantment State” has the 12th-highest rate of gun violence in the US. In New Mexico, 46.2% of adults have at least one gun at home. Firearms licenses in 2021: 122,968

Indiana

Last week, an 18-year-old from Mooresville, Indiana, was arrested for allegedly planning a mass school shooting at Mooresville High School. The Mooresville Metropolitan Police Department received information around 7PM 11 Feb from the FBI about someone who was potentially planning a school shooting on 14 Feb 2025.

During the department’s investigation, officers identified the person of interest as Trinity Shockley, of Mooresville. Court documents say Trinity is transgender, going by the name Jamie. Someone called the FBI and reported that Trinity was planning a shooting and that she had access to an AR-15 and ordered a bulletproof vest.

This is a catastrophe averted. The student reportedly had expressed admiration for other mass shooters, including Nikolas Cruz, who murdered 17 people and wounded 17 others at Parkland High School, Florida on 14 Feb 2018.

In an average year, 1,111 people die and 1,556 are wounded by guns in Indiana. Indiana has the 30th-highest rate of gun violence in the US. Indiana firearm licenses in 2021: 157,546. In Indiana, 44.8% of adults have at least one firearm at home.

In 2022, the CDC reported the US suffered 48,000 gun-related homicides. These are wartime casualty numbers. Every day 327 people are shot in the US. Of those, on average, 117 will die. By contrast in 2023 the entire country of Canada with approximately 41.6m people suffered 289 homicides by firearms. That averages to less than one firearm-related murder per day.

The US government may wish to consider deploying US Army medics or US Navy Corpsmen like the soldiers below throughout the country to triage and treat her daily casualties, like a warzone.

Unless America does something drastic and soon, her undeclared war with herself will reach 50,000 annual gun deaths possibly in 2025 or 2026. But remarkably, America’s Godzilla is doing the exact opposite. Trumpf recently signed an Executive Order reversing federal firearm regulations, making purchasing guns easier.

South Carolina Convict to be Killed in First Firing Squad Execution in 15 Years

“A South Carolina man on death row has chosen to be killed by firing squad, and if his execution goes forward next month, it would be the first time in 15 years that capital punishment in the US is carried out by gunfire. Brad Sigmon (67) is scheduled to be shot to death on 7 Mar, part of a spate of rapid killings the state has pursued in the last six months as it revives executions after a 13-year pause.

South Carolina now directs those on death row to choose how they will be killed — electric chair, lethal injection or shooting. If they decline to make a selection, the state electrocutes them. Attorneys for men on South Carolina’s death row have previously objected to firing squads, raising concerns about the pain caused by shootings and arguing the method constitutes cruel and unusual punishment. But Sigmon selected a firing squad in part because of concerns about the state’s lethal injection methods, his attorneys said.”

Australia Warns Airlines to Beware of Chinese Navy Live-Fire Exercise

Australia warned international airlines flying between Australian airports and New Zealand to beware of Chinese warships conducting a live-fire exercise in the Tasman Sea.

Regulator Airservices Australia had warned commercial pilots of a potential hazard in airspace between the countries as three Chinese warships conduct exercises off the Australian east coast.

Several international flights had diverted as a result.

“It would be normal practice where a task group is engaging in exercises for there to be advice given to vessels and aircraft in the area and Airservices Australia is doing what it should do, which is to give that advice,” Australian FM Penny Wong said.

Australia was discussing with China about the notification and transparency around its naval exercises, “particularly live-fire exercises,” Wong said.

Australian military ships and planes have been monitoring the Chinese warships for days as they pass in international waters off the Australian east coast.

The Royal Australian Navy Fleet consists of 27 commissioned ships and 11 non-commissioned ships manned by 16,000 officers and seamen; 4,600 in the reserves. The Chinese navy has 384,000 active personnel manning 788 ships and 600 aircraft.

Civil aviation has paid the price of flying near active military warzones Russia shot down a Malaysian Airlines several years ago, as well as an Azerbaijani Airways flight recently. This warning and quarantine zone is an obvious safety measure from Canberra. Conducting live fire drills in this vicinity is clearly a provocation from Beijing. Since Australia and New Zealand are allies of the US, perhaps China is testing the reaction from Trumpf.

“Hunter Schafer, a transgender woman and star of hit HBO teen drama Euphoria, has said a new US passport lists her as male, despite selecting female when she filled out the paperwork. Ms. Schafer said she changed her gender markers for her driver’s license and passports when she was a teenager, but that her birth certificate was never amended. The US State Department, which issues passports, says on its website that it will “only issue passports with an M or F sex marker that match the customer’s biological sex at birth.”

America’s Godzilla reversed the US State Dept policy which previously allowed a citizen to mark “X” under gender for their passport.

Thailand has long recognized a third gender called Kathoeys or “Ladyboys.”

So are DHS airport inspectors or border patrol agents at the Ports of Entry (POE) going to conduct strip searches or genetic tests on Ms. Schafer or kathoeys from Thailand?

Whatever happened to the time-honored American tradition of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?”

No Doubt America’s Godzilla is Russian Asset, But When Did The Kremlin Recruit Trumpf?

Followers of the Watch should not have been surprised by the US position at the recent NATO conference in Munich, Germany. Basically, Donald Trumpf abandoned support for Kiev after his demands for half of Ukraine’s rare earths were rebuffed. But that too was kabuki theater, just like Trumpf’s previous bloviating against Vladimir Putin to stop the war against Ukraine, ominously threatening that all “options were under consideration.” The historic parallel to British and French appeasement to Nazi Germany over Czechoslovakia in Munich 1938 is remarkable.

Henceforth, the EU, NATO, and the world for that matter, must treat the US as being under the nefarious occupation of Russia for at least the next four years, as if America was invaded and defeated like France or the Netherlands during the Second World War. NATO leaders are scrambling to find solutions to assist Ukraine without the US and will come up with workarounds. One answer might be through EUFOR, an entity the US does not participate in. Allies will stop sharing critical intelligence with the US.

What a Trumpf Tower in Russia might look like.

Many theories have propagated about how Donald Trumpf became an asset for the Kremlin. One theory is Russian intelligence holds compromising and damaging information on the 47th President (kompramat). In the 2016 election, Trumpf didn’t hesitate to publicly invoke the assistance of Russia or Wikileaks: “Russia, if you’re listening now….” Wikileaks then published damaging information about Hillary Clinton. Another theory is the KGB recruited Trumpf in 1977 who saw him as an “exploitable target”. American Detainees in Mexico

There are less than 100 Americans wrongfully detained overseas in Russia, China, and Venezuela, and considered political prisoners. AMCITs are also legitimately convicted and imprisoned overseas for crimes such as drug trafficking or violent crime. The State Dept website was unable to provide these numbers.

During one of Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum’s daily press briefings, she confirmed a journalist’s inquiry about American detainees in Mexico with a staggering number.

President Sheinbaum stated that over the past six years, 2,600 American citizens were arrested in Mexico for offenses related to organized crime — including the smuggling of drugs and firearms — since Dec 2018. She added that the US government asked for “many” of them to be extradited to face charges in the US.

“In the United States, there is also organized crime, and there are US citizens who come to Mexico … to carry out these illicit activities. Why do we say there is organized crime in the US? Because if there wasn’t, who would distribute fentanyl in US cities?” Sheinbaum said.

President Sheinbaum reiterated that Mexico is willing to collaborate with the US government on security issues. However, she stressed that Washington also has to “do its work” to “avoid the trafficking of drugs in their country.”

There is only one gun shop in the entire country of Mexico which is located on a military base near the capital. But in 2023, Mexico suffered 31,062 homicides Between 200,000 and 750,000 weapons manufactured by US gunmakers are smuggled across the border into Mexico every year, many of which are found at crime scenes. The Mexicans call this the ‘Iron River.’ American drug use and weapons manufacturing are driving up deaths in the US and Mexico. President Sheinbaum is considering lawsuits against US gunmakers.

Sudan and Russia Finalize Naval Base Agreement

In a joint press conference. Khartoum and Moscow are in full agreement on establishing a Russian naval base in Sudan. The agreement for constructing the naval facility in Port Sudan was initially signed in 2020, with discussions starting as early as 2017.

The base is intended to host up to four Russian ships and no more than 300 personnel. The agreement faced delays due to the fall of President Omar al-Bashir’s regime, which was replaced by military rule. The nation witnessed coups in 2019 and 2021. Additionally, reports from Dec 2024 indicated Sudan’s refusal to host the Russian base.

Bloomberg reported, citing sources within Sudanese intelligence, Russia offered Sudan an advanced S-400 surface-to-air missile system to seal the deal.

Aid organizations have said Sudan is the scene of the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, with the largest internally displaced population and fears that famine has broken out in parts of the country.

The civil war that started in April 2023 between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) further complicated relations between Russia and Sudan, as the Wagner group threw its weight behind the RSF while the Kremlin appeared to back the Sudanese army.

With the US pulling out of Africa, expect China and Russia to fill the void, expanding their influence and power bases. This appears to be a small base for Russian naval operations, but anything is better than nothing. After the fall of Bashar al-Assad, the fate of Russia’s air and naval base in Syria is still up in the air. If the Kremlin offered Sudan an advanced air defense weapon to “seal the deal,” that may be a sign of urgency on their part to secure something on the African continent.

In 2000, the US declared measles eliminated due to a highly effective vaccination program. From 2000–2023, measles vaccination prevented an estimated 60.3 million deaths globally. In 2023, 107,500 people died from measles worldwide, mostly children.

America’s Godzilla is spreading lies about vaccinations to the American people while Felon Musk’s DOGE guts the CDC, NIH, and HHS, an organization that anti-vaxxer Robert F. Kennedy Jr will now head. More Americans will needlessly get sick and die during the next four years.

Chrystia Freeland, who resigned last month as Justin Trudeau’s deputy and finance minister, has vowed “surgical” reprisals to the 25% tariff that Trump has placed on all steel imports.

Freeland, who is running to be the next leader of the Liberal Party and prime minister of Canada, said that if forced, the nation will “inflict the biggest trade blow that the United States has ever endured.” Her threat comes as the EV maker is struggling with declining global sales and potential backlash to its CEO’s political views.

Freeland also threatened to “go after” Wisconsin dairy farmers. “We know how important they are for the President. And we’re not going to let them sell their products in Canada anymore,” she said.

During 1988–89, she was an exchange student in Kiev and she is fluent in Ukrainian. If Ms. Freeland becomes Canada’s Prime Minister later this year, Trumpf will have an able adversary to the north, the way President Sheinbaum has become an effective foil for America’s Godzilla to the south.

America’s Godzilla Harming Vulnerable People in Third World and US Evangelicals

America’s Godzilla, Donald Trumpf, is thoroughly destroying US institutions un-Constitutionally and there is little stopping him, aside from some judicial orders and lawsuits that may slow him down. Now a portion of his supporters have been affected by his recklessness. Trumpf’s destruction of USAID has impacted missionaries and evangelicals.

“Faith-based organizations that partner with the US government to deliver international aid are being hard-hit by the USAID shutdown, and are now facing their own layoffs, furloughs and severe funding shortages. Remaining staff are being forced to make difficult choices about which lifesaving programs can continue without government funding.

Two of the twelve largest non-governmental recipients of USAID funds are faith-based: Catholic Relief Services and World Vision. These Christian nonprofits serve millions of people globally and provide food, water and health care in conflict zones.”

USAID feeds poor and hungry children in Africa through NGOs and Christian charities.

Catholic Relief Services — founded by US Catholic bishops in 1943 — told staff to expect drastic reductions in their workforce this year, as much as 50 percent, due to cuts in US foreign assistance. CRS receives more USAID support than any other non-governmental organization. The US government funded nearly half of the 2023 CRS budget of $1.2 billion.

The Vatican’s global charity arm, Caritas, warned that millions of people will die as a result of the “ruthless” US decision to “recklessly” stop USAID funding, and hundreds of millions more will be condemned to “dehumanizing poverty.”

Evangelical leader Franklin Graham prayed at both of Donald Trump’s presidential inaugurations, runs Samaritan’s Purse and said he wants” the government to make good decisions.”

This is a classic case of “buyer’s remorse” and hypocrisy from Christian evangelicals who make a livelihood of using American taxpayer dollars to help needy people in the Third World while spreading the Gospel. Coriolanus did not observe Christian evangelical charities like Samaritan’s Purse assisting the Muslim victims of malnourishment and disease in the Gaza Strip during the 15-month-long Israeli punitive Nakba against Palestinians. But hypocrisy is to be expected from these faux Christians like Franklin Graham.

The evangelicals know who and what Trumpf is, and yet they voted for him in 2024. They made their bed and now must sleep in it. Regrettably, innocent needy people in Africa and Asia will be negatively impacted, along with genuine international charities who are dependent on USAID. There are reports that tons of food have been wasted in Africa and Asia, along with medicines when USAID personnel were ordered immediately home.

Trumpf’s idiotic plan to relocate the population of Gaza into neighboring countries forced the King of Jordan to throw ice cold water on that plan this week during a visit with Godzilla. In street talk, King Abdullah is the “smartest cat in that neighborhood.”

King Abdullah II of Jordan is a UK Sandhurst Military Academy graduate and former Special Forces officer. Jordanian intelligence (the GID) is one of the most important and professional intelligence agencies in the Middle East. The GID has been instrumental in foiling several terrorist attacks both in Jordan and around the world. Best to listen to this man than ignore his erudition and experience.

These diplomatic blunders over tariffs, the Panama Canal, Greenland, USAID, Gaza– hosting an indicted war criminal at the White House– didn’t stop Godzilla’s foreign policy parade of lunacy though. Trumpf issued an Executive Order titled in all capital letters: ONE VOICE FOR AMERICA’S FOREIGN RELATIONS. This offensive ukase is basically a loyalty oath to him, and not the US constitution. The State Department can ask a potential employee if they are loyal to Trumpf before hiring him or her and can be used to remove employees.

World’s Fastest Supercomputer Goes Online in US

The world’s fastest supercomputer ‘El Capitan’ went online this week at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California. It will be used to secure the US nuclear stockpile and in other classified research. ‘El Capitan’ can reach a peak performance of 2.746 exaFLOPS, making it the planet’s third exascale computer.

Former UK Royal Navy officer D.F. Jones began writing the Colossus trilogy in the 1960s about a super AI computer created to take charge of US national security. Colossus assumes command and control of America’s nuclear arsenal and surveillance systems. When Colossus detects its presence, it demands to be linked to Guardian and the two super AI computers are now exponentially more powerful. As if having his own “Colossus” super AI computer, and potential access to “El Capitan” through his notorious and unregulated DOGE is not enough, a Musk-led group is making $97B bid for control of OpenAI. This is pure megalomania and nothing good will come of this South African-born racist oligarch with too much money to spend without an iota of decency within him and with access to America’s inner workings through his DOGE.

Trumpf recognizes a successful grifter when he sees one. No one in the Trumpf Crime Family (TCF) lost a penny to fellow New Yorker goniff Bernie Madoff years ago unlike other NYC oligarchs.

Benjamin Netanyahu Corruption Trial Re-Commences

Benjamin Netanyahu’s long delayed corruption trial re-commenced and he exploded in anger at his prosecutors. The Times of Israel reports:

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu exploded with anger at prosecutors while giving testimony at his criminal trial on Monday, accusing them of “setting up” the indictment against him, citing what he alleged were spurious charges that he had an illicit quid pro quo agreement with the owner of the Walla news website, Shaul Elovitch.

A furious Netanyahu said it was “unbelievable” that he was indicted over charges he claimed had no merit. “For eight years, you’ve been dragging me through this hell. For what? Have you no shame?” he demanded of prosecutors sitting in the courtroom.

Netanyahu was testifying for only the eighth time since he began giving testimony back on 10 Dec last year, due to multiple postponements brought on by scheduling issues, his recent prostate removal surgery, and his visit to the US last week.”

Netanyahu was heckled by members of the Knesset this week and chastised by family members of hostages taken by Hamas because they know full well that he could have released more Palestinian prisoners in 2023 to end the ordeal.

In 2019, Netanyahu entered his plea at the hearing which had been previously postponed because of the COVID pandemic. He is accused of bribery, fraud and breach of trust in three separate cases known as 1,000, 2,000 and 4,000.

Case 1,000 – Fraud and breach of trust: he is accused of receiving gifts – mainly cigars and bottles of champagne – from powerful businessmen in exchange for favors.

Case 2,000 – Fraud and breach of trust: Netanyahu is accused of offering to help improve the circulation of Israeli newspaper Yediot Ahronot in exchange for positive coverage.

Case 4,000 – Bribery, fraud and breach of trust: as PM and minister of communications at the time of the alleged offence, Mr Netanyahu is accused of promoting regulatory decisions favorable to the controlling shareholder in the Bezeq telecom giant, Shaul Elovitch, in exchange for positive coverage by Mr Elovitch’s Walla news site.

Gali Baharav-Miara is Israel’s first female Attorney-General prosecuting Benjamin Netanyahu.

During this corruption trial, allegations of witness tampering emerged. Three senior aides to Netanyahu were indicted on charges of witness intimidation on Tuesday, for having sent a car with a megaphone to the home of a key witness in Netanyahu’s criminal trial in 2019 in order to harass him. The three aides indicted were Ofer Golan, who served as a spokesman for the Netanyahu family and the director of the Likud election campaign in 2019; Jonatan Urich, who served at the time as a strategic adviser and a senior official in Likud’s election campaign staff; and Yisrael Einhorn, who served as a Likud spokesman.

Sara Netanyahu was accused of intimidating witnesses and Attorney-General Gali Baharav-Miara ordered an investigation of her.

US Doctors Testify at UN That Many Palestinian Doctors Are Either Dead, Jailed, or Displaced

Many Palestinian doctors who worked in the Gaza Strip are either dead, have fled the territory, or are in prison, US doctors testified at the United Nations.

Four US medical doctors who have worked in the Gaza Strip for periods throughout the past 15 months spoke about their concerns and the priorities for bringing critical care needed in Gaza during a press conference at the UN in New York last week.

Drs. Thaer Ahmad, Ayesha Khan, Feroze Sidhwa, and Mahmooda Syed met with the UN secretary-general and spoke last week with the press about the future of Gaza.

All four said they agreed they had never seen anything like what they saw during their time working in Gaza.

One missing physician was finally located by a human rights lawyer. The director of Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital has been subjected to various forms of intense torture and inhumane treatment in an Israeli military prison, his lawyer told Al Jazeera.

The 51-year-old Hussam Abu Safia was detained in Gaza by the Israeli army in December and taken to Sde Teiman military detention camp in Israel’s Negev Desert, before being transferred to Ofer Prison, located near Ramallah.

Aging Members of Congress Receive Superb Medical Care But Refuse to Disclose Details of Their Secret Hospital

According to a Congressional Research Service report, it costs a member of Congress just $650 a year for nearly unlimited medical care. That includes not only access to on-site X-rays, lab work, and physical therapy, but also free referrals to Washington-area military hospitals, which provide the best care in the country free to members, also on the taxpayer’s dime.

“In the past two months alone, 82-year-old Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX) was discovered to be living in an assisted-living facility with a dementia ward in her final months in office; 74-year-old Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) won a high-profile leadership position on the House Oversight Committee after revealing he is battling highly terminal esophageal cancer; 82-year-old Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) fell twice on Capitol Hill just months after blacking out during a press conference; 84-year-old former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) fell and broke her hip in Luxembourg; and 76-year-old Rep. John Larson (D-CT) appeared to suffer a stroke on the House floor. (Larson’s staff has said it was a bad reaction to a new medication.) Local Washington pharmacists have said they fill prescriptions for things like Alzheimer’s drugs written by staff in the OAP.

What has eluded attention is the highly secretive hospital, housed on Capitol Hill and funded by taxpayers, that provides both emergency and primary care to an aging political class, which some have come to describe as a gerontocracy. It also runs classified programs known only to some members of Congress. Aside from the OAP, members of Congress have access to Obamacare health plans.”

By salary, perks, and benefits, across party lines senators and congressmen have more in common with each other than the constituents they serve, like a politburo. On top of their generous salaries, many congressman are oligarchal wealthy.

A woman shot her four young daughters and then herself inside a home in northern Wyoming. The mother Tranyelle Harshman (32) and one daughter (7) survived, but their condition was unknown. Mrs. Harshman was reportedly suffering from Post-Partum Depression (PPD). The husband is devastated and a GoFundMe page was established to help pay for the exorbitant funeral costs.

In an average year, 139 people die and 141 are wounded by guns in Wyoming, which has the 16th-highest rate of gun violence in the US. The “Cowboy State” reported 142,247 firearms licenses in 2021 and an estimated 66.2% of adults live in homes with guns. In Wyoming, 86% of gun deaths are suicides and 10% are homicides. This is compared to 56% and 40% nationwide, respectively. Suicide rates in Wyoming are double the national rate.

In the US, the Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) has officially updated “Gulf of Mexico” to “Gulf of America.” People using Google Maps in the US will see “Gulf of America,” and people in Mexico will see “Gulf of Mexico.” Everyone else will see both names.

Pakistan: Mysterious Illness Kills Three Children

Per CIA, Pakistan has a population of 252,363,571 people and GDP per capita is 5,400.

A mysterious illness claimed the lives of three children in three days in Chak No. 156, near Laddhana, Layyah. Based on symptoms and reported conditions, the illness appeared to be a viral disease. The affected families had migrated from Taunsa Sharif, and their children lacked immunization records. The families were instructed to avoid physical contact, wash the affected children’s bedding and dry it in sunlight, and ensure proper hand washing before and after meals.

The three children could have died from hepatitis, typhoid, or any number of diseases. Poverty, migration, poor sanitation, and hygiene, all contribute to the spread of infectious diseases. Authorities will only know after the autopsies are complete.

In this non-stop vortex of chaos caused by America’s Godzilla, here’s what we learned. USSECSTATE Marco Rubio, barely on the job a few days, flew down to Panama to demand they immediately take steps to end what President Trumpf sees as China’s influence and control over the Panama Canal. A Hong Kong-based company operates two ports near the canal’s entrances which Trumpf bloviated was a threat to the waterway and a violation of the US-Panama treaty. Rubio would claim they reached a deal that allowed US warships to transit the canal for free. Panama’s canal authority made it clear that it had not made any adjustments to tolls, directly contradicting Washington’s announcement that the policy change would save the U.S. “millions of dollars a year.” Since 1999, the US has paid a total of $25.4 million in transit fees—less than $1 million annually. While Panama’s President Raúl Mulino told Rubio that Panama’s sovereignty over the canal was non-negotiable, he also signaled a distancing from China by announcing that they will quit Beijing’s Belt and Road project. The canal, returned to Panama under a treaty signed in 1977, remains independently operated, despite conspiracy-laden rhetoric about China’s control over it. Panamanian President Mulino may take the matter of Trumpf’s bullying to the UN Security Council.

This episode was a “nothing burger” designed to give Trumpf an easy, public victory for his supporters, when in essence the American people got very little out it. Below, the Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum of US foreign policy.

America’s Godzilla issued an Executive Order (E.O.) condemning South Africa’s alleged discrimination against Afrikaaners and supposed land grabs. The E.O. authorized the US to facilitate the expedited re-settlement of these supposedly oppressed Afrikaaners to the US. This is the type of people Trumpf wants in America:

And so did two prominent Afrikaaner organizations:

At the same press conference, Kallie Kriel, the CEO of the Afrikaner lobby group AfriForum, said: “We have to state categorically: We don’t want to move elsewhere.”

Trumpf announced plans to gut the Kennedy Center board and appoint himself chairman. Godzilla stripped Joe Biden’s Presidential Daily Brief (PDB), as well as the security clearances of non-federal government prosecutors such as Letitia James and Alvin Bragg. Trumpf will also be the first sitting POTUS to attend a Superbowl Game, where the “End Racism” signs and slogans have been removed. Elon Musk’s DOGE has been busy going through the records of millions of Americans. A US Treasury Threat Intelligence Analysis report designated DOGE staff as an ‘Insider Threat’ and these have posters have been cropping up in Washington DC.

Trumpf’s administration rehired a flagrantly racist DOGE employee. These are the miscreants working on behalf of Elon Musk to pilfer America’s wealth:

But Godzilla wasn’t done. The Crime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, flew to Washington. Trumpf floated the idea for the US to “take over” the Gaza Strip during a press conference with the ICC-indicted war criminal calling for Gaza’s entire population to be relocated to other countries and for the land to be redeveloped.

As previously reported here on Coriolanus, this was the “Repub-Likud” plan all the time. Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s former White House adviser and his son-in-law, praised the “very valuable” potential of Gaza’s “waterfront property,” suggesting that Israel should remove civilians while it “cleans up” the area. This is why no ceasefire was reached in 2024, despite the dozen trips that USSECSTATE Antony Blinken and D/CIA William Burns made to the Middle East. The incessant IDF bombing campaign against the Palestinians and Biden’s unqualified support for Israel kept antiwar voters home in Nov 2024. When Kamala Harris became the Democratic Presidential candidate, she immediately selected an outreach coordinator for Jewish-American voters, as if the Democratic Party needed such an envoy. She did not do the same for Arab-American voters. Kamala Harris’ inability to divorce her policy position from Biden cost her the Presidency; Trumpf and Bibi both knew it. (A) North Korean Cannon Fodder Reported Back in the Fight

North Korean soldiers were “brought in again” by Russia to the embattled Kursk Oblast, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his evening address on 7 Feb.

Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi briefed Zelensky about new Russian attacks in Kursk Oblast, a day after Russian media claimed Ukraine had launched a new offensive in the Russian region.

“A significant number of occupiers have been eliminated, we are talking hundreds of Russian and North Korean servicemen,” the president said.

The New York Times reported on 30 Jan that North Korean troops had been pulled from the front, and a spokesperson confirmed that Ukraine’s special forces had not faced Pyongyang’s soldiers for three weeks.

Moreover, President Zelenskyy said that “Putin is not preparing for negotiations, not for peace, but for the continuation of the war, and not only against us, against Ukraine. They are now increasing their army by more than 100,000 more soldiers. All partners should know about this and should see it. We are ready to pass on the relevant information, and the relevant communication is already taking place through the intelligence line.”

Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) is claiming NATO member states are plotting to oust Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from power by discrediting him, and then holding elections to switch up leadership in the war-torn country.

The SVR said NATO is guided by the uncertainty regarding the continuation of military aid to Kyiv from the new US administration led by President Donald Trump. NATO hopes to “freeze” the conflict, however Zelensky remains the main obstacle to the implementation of such a plan, it said. There is no indication that such a plot exists.

Russian soldiers continue getting slaughtered against Ukraine and their morale must be at an all time low thanks to drone warfare. Next week NATO will be convening the Ministers of Defense Summit where military assistance to Ukraine will be the main topic. The Kremlin is attempting to sow discord within NATO before the conference with the propaganda that President Zelensky is corrupt and an obstacle to peace. In Brussels expect sycophantic USSECDEF Pete Hegseth to parrot the same Kremlin lines by asking for elections in Ukraine.

Turkiye: 33 Dead in Ankara from Bootleg Alcohol Poisoning, 20 in Critical Condition

The provincial governor’s office reported that 33 persons died in Ankara following bootleg alcohol use while another 20 are in intensive care.

In Turkiye, where bootleg alcohol is frequently contaminated with methanol, a poisonous chemical that can cause blindness, liver damage and death, such poisonings are rather prevalent and result from covert manufacturing.

Police confiscated 102 tons of contaminated alcohol and arrested 13 individuals on suspicions of selling it.

Though the governor omitted a chronology, his office’s X account on Tuesday cited “an increase in counterfeit alcohol deaths in recent days”. A spokeswoman for the governor’s office informed AFP the statistic was “from the beginning of the year”.

Previous consumption of bootlegged alcohol had left 26 people in intensive care and 38 people died in Istanbul in Jan 2025.

Since then, no official comment on whether the number of victims rose or on the state of those in intensive care has been made.

Inquired by AFP for a Friday update, a spokeswoman from the Istanbul governor’s office responded: “We are not going to make a statement on that.”

Turkiye is an ostensibly secular nation, although alcohol tariffs have surged under pious President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Purchased from a supermarket, a liter bottle of raki, Turkey’s aniseed-flavored national spirit, currently costs over 1,300 lira ($37.20) in a nation where the minimum salary just recently exceeded $600.

Critics claim high prices and low salaries are driving the manufacture of moonshine alcohol.

Pam Bondi Weaponizes Justice Dept, Ends FBI Role to Combat Foreign Influence in US Politics

“Bondi directed the “weaponization” group to investigate former special counsel Jack Smith, who brought the two federal criminal cases against Trump: one over Trump’s role in the 6 Jan 2021 attack on the US Capitol and another on Trump’s mishandling of classified documents.

And she directed the group to examine “federal cooperation with the weaponization” by the offices of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and New York Attorney General Letitia James. Bragg’s office brought the criminal hush money case against Trump that ended in his conviction on 34 felony counts of business fraud. James brought a civil fraud lawsuit against Trump and his family business that resulted in a judge ordering Trump to pay a massive civil judgment.

Trump has repeatedly vowed revenge on Bragg and James, both Democrats, saying Bragg should be prosecuted and that James is “grossly incompetent.” Trump and his supporters have also questioned the role of one of the prosecutors in Bragg’s office, Matthew Colangelo, who previously worked at the Justice Department. Trump has pointed to Colangelo’s resume to claim that former President Joe Biden’s administration played a role in bringing the criminal case.

Bondi said the Justice Department would end a moratorium on federal executions that was put in place during the Biden administration. She pledged that department lawyers will “evaluate all potential avenues to strengthen the federal death penalty as a valid means of punishment for the heinous crimes it is intended to punish. She also ended the FBI’s role in investigating foreign influence in US politics.”

Attorney-General A. Mitchell Palmer arrested and deported thousands of aliens from 1919-20 during the “Red Scare.”

If Americans feel less secure today they have a right to. Between the internal threat posed by DOGE to American’s privacy, the purging of the FBI, and now this weaponization of the Justice Dept by Trumpf, America’s enemies will have a field day in the US. Expect fewer prosecutions of police brutality cases, as well as less investigations of white supremacist groups and Russian oligarchs. This agenda will suit Vladimir Putin just fine.

Followers of the Watch, Coriolanus is doing his best to keep up with the wake of destruction Donald Trumpf is leaving behind in his catastrophic warpath against the people of the United States and the world.

In no specific order of damage assessment, here we go. Against the wishes of California Governor Gavin Newsom (D), and most likely the advice of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Trumpf ordered the release of 2.2 billion gallons of water from the Lake Kaweah and Lake Success reservoirs north of Los Angeles. But these waters would not reach Los Angeles anyway and will be needed for farmers later this year. This was a terrible waste of water that will punish Blue State Californians this upcoming spring and summer, particularly if a blistering heatwave sets in or another drought arises.

Trumpf Endangering Passenger Air Travel

The FAA banned its employees from attending advisory panels set up to explore how to make air travel safer. “It appears that safety is being forced to take a back seat due to fear of retribution, which means we all lose,” said an FAA official. Trumpf has separately come under criticism for forcing out key aviation safety officials in the days before the recent Ronald Reagan Airport crash, at the recommendation of tech billionaire oligarch Elon Musk. Trumpf recently remarked that a high-speed railway project isn’t necessary because, according to him, a plane ticket can be purchased for only $2.

Trumpf Stops All Global USAID Activities, Ordering Personnel Home

Trumpf Spreads Autism Misinformation in RFK Jr. Senate Confirmation Push

Godzilla cited inaccurate figures of autism diagnoses as a reason why the US Senate should confirm Robert F Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

That social media post wasn’t the first time Trumpf has floated misinformation about autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In a Dec 2024 interview with TIME magazine, Trumpf said he’d have a “big discussion” with Kennedy about potentially ending childhood vaccination programs, noting the “autism rate is at a level that nobody ever believed possible.”

While Trumpf did not insinuate a tie between autism and vaccines in his Tuesday post, he has in the past. But wait, things get worse for Americans and national security.  Godzilla evicted former four-star Coast Guard Commandant Linda Fagan from her home with only three hours notice this week. Trumpf had fired Admiral Fagan, the first woman to ever lead the Coast Guard, on the second day of his regime. Admiral Fagan barely had time to gather her personal belongings and was forced to spend the night with friends.

Trumpf demanded and received the names of 5,000 FBI personnel that investigated him and the white supremacist terrorists that attacked the US Capitol on 6 Jan 2021. Remarkably, America’s first line of defense surrendered the names to Trumpf. The Fourth Reich can rescind the TS-SCI security clearances of these personnel, rendering them incapable of employment in the US Intelligence Community (USIC) and thus their termination from the FBI. These agents and analysts also become vulnerable to retaliation from the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, the FSB, drug cartels, the mafia, or the Hell’s Angels.

Moreover, Putin’s protege ordered CIA to offer buyouts to its entire workforce, to align it with Trumpf’s priorities. CIA is also freezing the hiring of job applicants already given a conditional offer. Some of those frozen offers are likely to be rescinded if the applicants do not have the right background for the agency’s new goals, which include targeting drug cartels, the reckless and unnecessary trade war, and undermining China.

White Supremacist Leader Found Guilty of Conspiring to Destroy Regional Power Grid

After a six-day trial, a federal jury found Brandon Russell (29) a resident of Orlando, FL, guilty of conspiracy to damage an energy facility. From Nov 2022 to 3 Feb 2023, Russell conspired to carry out attacks against critical infrastructure, specifically transformers located within electrical substations, in furtherance of Russell’s racially or ethnically motivated violent extremist beliefs. Russell posted links to open-source maps of infrastructure, which included the locations of electrical substations, and he described how a small number of attacks on substations could cause a “cascading failure.” Russell also discussed maximizing the impact of the planned attack by hitting multiple substations at one time.

Russell recruited a Maryland-based woman, Sarah Beth Clendaniel, to carry out the attacks in Baltimore and elsewhere. They planned to damage energy facilities involved in the transmission and distribution of electricity and to cause a significant interruption and impairment of the Baltimore regional power grid. The intended monetary loss associated with the planned attacks would have exceeded $75 million.

Russell faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison for conspiracy to damage an energy facility. A sentencing date has not been scheduled.

Sarah-Beth-Clendaniel was sentenced to 18 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release.

Followers of the Watch may recall a previous post about these two dangerous miscreants, now rendered ineffective. The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) may want to throw away the key on these two lunatics or send them to El Salvador or Guantanamo Bay.

Ukraine Update

SBU Detains Two Russian Saboteurs Preparing Terrorist Attack in Rivne

Ukrainian security services prevented a mass casualty attack in the center of Rivne, detaining two Russian saboteurs. The suspects were supposed to leave an improvised explosive device (IED) in a bag near the administrative building of a law enforcement agency. The attackers planned to detonate the explosives by calling a mobile phone connected to the IED.

The attack was to take place when there were many law enforcement officers near the police station and the miscreants themselves would still be near the explosive device.

“In this way, the ‘Ruscists’ planned to kill the maximum number of police officers and ordinary citizens and at the same time eliminate the perpetrators of the terrorist attack as ‘unnecessary’ witnesses.”

The SBU officers exposed the Russian agents in advance and thwarted the plot. Both suspects were detained red-handed when they were trying to plant explosives near the district police department. At the scene, a bag equipped with an IED and additional covert surveillance devices with remote access function for the Russian special services was seized from the detainees.

The saboteurs are two 19-year-olds who were looking for “quick” money on Telegram channels now face twelve years prison and financial confiscation.

These two imbeciles below were lucky as they would have been blown up in the attack by their nefarious handlers who were concealed at a safe, remote distance. As noted here on Coriolanus, Ukraine’s security services are constantly improving.

Laser Weapon Deployed Against Russian Target

The Tryzub (Trident) is based on the UK DragonFire system.

Ukraine is already using laser technologies to hit Russian targets, said Colonel Vadym Sukharevskyi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces:

“Laser technologies are already hitting certain objects at a certain altitude.”

The commander first said in mid-Dec 2024 that Ukraine is among the few nations with laser weapon capabilities. According to Sukharevskyi, Ukraine’s laser system, called Tryzub, can down aircraft at altitudes exceeding two kms.

The Unmanned Systems Forces, established less than a year ago, already include combat and research units operating across air, land, and sea.

Russia recently attacked Ukraine with 102 drones; 59 were downed by air defense, and 37 went off radar.

For Ukraine, this development is critically important, as it relies on the supply of anti-aircraft ammunition and missiles from its European partners. Another significant advantage is cost efficiency. Missiles cost tens of thousands of dollars, while a single laser shot costs several dollars.

Ocean Surface Warming Over 400% Faster Than in 1980s

The unexpected jump in global temperatures since 2023 has helped fuel a relentless assault of associated disasters around the world, including the Los Angeles fires and the deadly Valencia floods in Spain, leaving researchers scrambling for explanations.

Data from the world’s oceans now reveal that an alarming acceleration in sea surface warming likely contributed. A new study from the University of Reading in the UK finds the tops of our oceans are warming more than four times faster than in the late 1980s.

The Earth’s diminishing reflectivity may be contributing to this. The ocean’s dark surface helps it absorb heat, whereas white clouds and aerosol particles in the atmosphere help bounce the sun’s radiation back into space. In 2020, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) adopted a new rule to cut back on sulfur pollution from shipping fuel, but because the aerosol particles in emissions acted as a seed for clouds, the regulation had the unintended effect of dimming the marine layer of clouds that blanket the ocean.

Excess ocean warmth has had wide-ranging consequences. In April 2024, 77% of the world’s coral reefs became imperiled in the most extensive bleaching event on record, threatening the livelihoods of a billion people and a quarter of marine life. Changing ocean temperatures also shift weather patterns, potentially intensifying droughts, downpours, and storms alike.

NASA Images Reveal Mysterious Square Structure on Mars

According to several AI calculations, the base of this Square structure is estimated to measure 235 meters on each side (approximately 770 feet). Interestingly, the width of the Great Pyramid in Egypt is nearly identical, at about 230 meters.

INTERPOL: Nearly 20,000 Live Animals Seized in Largest-Ever Wildlife and Forestry Operation

138 countries and regions joined forces to target fauna and flora trafficking worldwide

Nearly 20,000 live animals, all endangered or protected species, have been seized in a global operation against wildlife and forestry trafficking networks, jointly coordinated by INTERPOL and the World Customs Organization (WCO).

Operation Thunder 2024 brought together police, customs, border control, forestry and wildlife officials from 138 countries and regions, marking the widest participation since the first edition in 2017.

Authorities arrested 365 suspects and identified six transnational criminal networks suspected of trafficking animals and plants protected by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Such species are illegally trafficked to meet specific market demands, whether for food, perceived medicinal benefits, “luxury” and collector items or as pets and competition animals.

Significant seizures include:

Indonesia: 134 tons of timber headed to Asia via ocean freight.
Kenya: 41 tons of exotic timber headed to Asia via ocean freight.
Nigeria: 4,472 kg of pangolins scales
Türkiye: 6,500 live songbirds discovered during a vehicle inspection at the Syrian border.
India: 5,193 live red-eared ornamental slider turtles concealed in passenger suitcases arriving from Malaysia at Chennai Airport.
Peru: 3,700 protected plants intercepted en route from Ecuador.
Qatar: Eight rhino horns found in a suspect’s luggage while transiting from Mozambique to Thailand.
United States: One ton of sea cucumbers, considered a seafood delicacy, smuggled from Nicaragua.
Hong Kong, China: 973 kg of dried shark fins originating from Morocco seized at the airport.
Czech Republic: Eight tigers, aged between two months and two years, discovered in a suspected illegal breeding facility.

US/Canada: Measles Cases in Texas, Manitoba

At least four cases of measles, including two involving school-aged children, have been reported in southeast Texas in less than two weeks, putting state health agencies on alert as other counties have also reported cases in Gaines, Harris, and Lubbock. 

For some communities, this is the first case of measles in more than 20 years.

About 1 in 5 unvaccinated people in the US who get measles will be hospitalized, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Manitoba provincial public health officials are warning citizens of possible exposure to measles. Officials say there have been five confirmed cases of measles in southern Manitoba, all connected to an outbreak in Ontario. All of the affected individuals are from the same household and had recently travelled to Ontario. They have all been asked to isolate at home. 

81 cases of measles have been reported in Ontario in 2024 and 2025. 

Measles is a highly contagious airborne disease. General symptoms may include fever, cough, runny nose, watery eyes, and a full-body rash. This disease can cause serious health consequences and even death, especially for young and unvaccinated children. Up to three of every 1,000 children who become infected with measles may die from respiratory and neurologic complications. Vaccinations and “herd immunity” are the key to stopping the spread of measles.

German General Warns: “We Are No Longer at Peace”

The commander of the German military’s newly established Operational Command, Alexander Sollfrank, warned of increasing Russian attempts to disrupt life in Germany in an interview with dpa. There have been “intrusion attempts” into facilities of the Bundeswehr, as Germany’s military is known, as well as drone sightings.

“We are no longer at peace. We are observing hostile activities against the Bundeswehr in Germany, against infrastructure, including spying.”

Last year US and German counterintelligence agents foiled a Russian assassination attempt on Armin Papperger, the CEO of an arms manufacturer sending weapons to Ukraine. The plot was one of a series of Russian plans to assassinate defense industry executives across Europe who were supporting Ukraine’s war effort.

NATO continues to maintain a high alert level for Russian sabotage and espionage.

In the latest incident over the weekend, an undersea cable between Sweden and Latvia, which is used by the Latvian State Radio and Television Centre (LVRTC), was damaged, although the exact cause remains still unclear. The authorities in Stockholm are investigating possible serious sabotage and have detained a suspicious vessel.

In a separate German interview with Bild, NATO Chief Mark Rutte has said he has ideas about any future peace negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow that are a “little secret,” but will ensure Russian President Vladimir Putin will “never try again” to conquer Ukraine.

“We must ensure that (Putin) can never, ever again conquer even one square kilometer of Ukraine,” the NATO chief replied, adding the most important thing for NATO to do right now is to support Kyiv with weapons and training for its soldiers.

Rutte went on to say that if Ukraine decides to enter peace talks, it will then have to bring Putin to the negotiating table.

“I can’t describe to you exactly how these talks will go,” Rutte said, adding: “I already have ideas about what this composition could look like. But we don’t want to make Putin any smarter than he already is. We’re making it a little secret.”

“The front is moving in the wrong direction. But at what price?,” the NATO Chief advised, adding, the Russians are paying for it with 1,000 to 1,500 people a day who are dying or seriously wounded. And yet the Russians are not achieving their goals.”

“Only the end is certain — Putin will never try again after this,” Rutte concluded.

Thanks to the devastating UK-manufactured and supplied Storm Shadow drone weapon system, NATO has given Ukraine a fighting chance.

These interviews are for German public consumption as the only language the Kremlin understands is action or force. But demonstrating confidence and unity against Russia is welcome, especially in the light that a Vladimir Putin protege now occupies the White House. NATO is signaling they are stepping up to fill the imminent void the US will be leaving.

Despite Trumpf’s efforts, the ICC has outstanding international arrest warrants issued for Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu for war crimes.

An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

Former Federal Reserve Senior Adviser Indicted For Economic Espionage

John Harold Rogers (63) of Vienna, VA, a former Senior Adviser for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors (FRB), was arrested on charges that he conspired to steal Federal Reserve trade secrets for the benefit of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

In furtherance of the conspiracy, Rogers allegedly made false statements to the Federal Reserve Board Office of Inspector General, and those false statements had a material impact on its investigation.

“As alleged, the defendant violated the trust placed in him by the Federal Reserve Bank by putting US trade secrets in the hands of his PRC co-conspirators, knowing full well that such information would benefit the PRC Government and PRC instrumentalities.”

“The Chinese Communist Party has expanded its economic espionage campaign to target US government financial policies and trade secrets in an effort to undermine the US and become the sole superpower.”

Rogers, a US citizen with a Ph.D. in Economics, worked as a Senior Adviser in the Division of International Finance of the FRB from 2010 until 2021, where he was entrusted with confidential FRB information. The confidential information that Rogers allegedly shared with his Chinese co-conspirators, who worked for the intelligence and security apparatus of China and who posed as graduate students at a PRC university, is economically valuable when secret.

China holds a large amount of US foreign debt (approximately $816 billion as of Oct 2024). The data Rogers shared with his co-conspirators could allow China to manipulate the US market, in a manner similar to insider trading. Gaining advance knowledge of US economic policy, including advance knowledge of changes to the federal funds rate, could provide China with an advantage when selling or buying US bonds or securities.

The indictment alleges that from at least 2018, Rogers allegedly exploited his employment with the FRB by soliciting trade-secret information regarding proprietary economic data sets, deliberations about tariffs targeting China, briefing books for designated governors, and sensitive information about Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) deliberations and forthcoming announcements. He passed that information electronically to his personal email account, in violation of FRB policy, or printed it prior to traveling to China, in preparation for meetings with his co-conspirators. Under the guise of teaching “classes,” Rogers met with his co-conspirators in hotel rooms in China where he conveyed sensitive, trade-secret information that belonged to the FRB and the FOMC.

In 2023, Rogers was paid approximately $450,000 as a part-time professor at a Chinese university.

On 4 Feb 2020, in response to questioning by the Office of the Inspector General for the Federal Reserve Board, Rogers lied about his accessing and passage of sensitive information and his associations with his co-conspirators.

Rogers is charged with conspiracy to commit economic espionage and with making false statements. Conspiracy to commit economic espionage carries a maximum statutory penalty of 15 years in prison, and a maximum fine of $5 million. Making false statements carries a maximum statutory penalty of five years in prison.

A criminal indictment is merely an allegation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

US Mercenary Firms to Take Charge of Key Gaza Checkpoints as Part of Ceasefire

US “private security” contractors will deploy armed guards to Gaza and inspect vehicles of Palestinians returning to their homes in the north via an Israeli-installed checkpoint that divides the strip into two parts.

Citing two Israeli officials and a source with direct knowledge, Axios reported that the planned deployment is expected to start in the coming days.

The two US companies, Safe Reach Solutions (SRS) and UG Solutions, will operate a checkpoint on the Netzarim corridor, a key road south of Gaza City. Salaries for these ex-US Army Special Forces soldiers, Rangers, or USN Seals will probably range from $1,000 to $1,500 per day.

Israeli forces set up the Netzarim corridor, which divides the Gaza Strip into two halves, during its war on the strip to prevent displaced Palestinians from returning to the northern part.

The deployment was negotiated as part of the ceasefire agreement, brokered by the US, Egypt and Qatar, between Israel and the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas. It aimed to solve a key sticking point around the movement of displaced Palestinians back to northern Gaza.

“The consortium’s role is to oversee, manage, and secure a critical vehicle checkpoint along Salah al-Din Road, facilitating the safe return of displaced Palestinians to northern Gaza. The consortium aims to ensure orderly vehicle movement while preventing the transport of weapons northward, in line with the ceasefire terms,” a source familiar with the issue claimed.

The US contractors are expected to remain in Gaza until the end of the first phase of the deal, which took effect on Sunday. According to the agreement, Palestinians displaced to the south could return seven days into the truce.

An Egyptian security company, which has been approved by the Egyptian intelligence service, will also be involved in the checks.

“There may be additional members and nationalities in the future,” a source familiar with the issue said.

It will be the first time in decades that US private security companies will operate in Gaza. American contractors have a dark history of crimes against non-combatants and civilians in war zones.

Four security guards from the private military firm Blackwater received jail sentences for killing 14 civilians, including two children, in Iraq’s Baghdad in 2007, a massacre that sparked an international outcry over the use of mercenaries in war. However, they were later pardoned by Donald Trump during his first presidential term in 2020.

There is a reason why the United Nations stands firmly against the use of mercenary fighters: Because mercenaries, at the end of the day, have performed far more atrocities than acts of valor on the battlefield.

Western France Battles Worst Floods in Decades Following Storm Ivo

More than 1,600 people have fled their homes in western France as a third major storm in a week brought record rainfall and extreme flooding.

Storm Ivo hit areas already struggling with flooding from storms Eowyn and Herminia. Red weather alerts remain active in three regions of Brittany – Ille-et-Vilaine, Loire-Atlantique, and Morbihan.

Their combined impact of the storms was exacerbated by the fact that the ground was already drenched from previous persistent rainfall.

National weather service Météo France warned that the situation could get worse in the coming days and authorities are on high alert. The French interior ministry said Paris had dispatched 1,500 additional firefighters to the affected areas.

“It’s quite catastrophic,” a local resident said. “I am also thinking of how the clean-up will be difficult for all these people once the waters recede.”

The danger of waterborne diseases as well as breeding grounds for Tiger mosquitos have drastically increased in this area of western France, presenting another problem for the wobbly Macron government. US Urges Ukraine to Hold Elections After Ceasefire

“The US is urging Ukraine to hold elections, possibly by the end of the year, particularly if a truce with Russia is reached in the coming months, according to President Donald Trump’s top Ukraine official.

Keith Kellogg, Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, told Reuters that presidential and parliamentary elections, suspended since the all-out war began, “need to be done.” He argued that most democratic nations hold elections during wartime and that doing so would strengthen Ukraine’s democracy. “That’s the beauty of a solid democracy, you have more than one person potentially running,” Kellogg said.

Trump and Kellogg have indicated they are working on a plan to broker a peace deal within the first months of the new administration, though details remain scarce. While the strategy is still being developed, two sources familiar with White House discussions and a former US official briefed on the matter said Trump officials are considering pushing Ukraine to hold elections as part of an initial ceasefire with Russia.

The Kremlin has questioned the absence of elections, with Russian President Vladimir Putin insisting that the Ukrainian leader lacks the legal authority to sign binding agreements. However, Putin has said Zelensky could still take part in negotiations if he first repeals a 2022 decree that bans talks with Russia while Putin remains in power.”

As predicted, the Trumpf-Putin axis talking points against Ukraine have begun. This agitprop plants the seed in the American media that Ukrainian President Zelensky is somehow corrupt or illegitimate by not holding elections. Such elections give the Kremlin an opportunity to allow hidden pro-Kremlin Fifth Columnists to run for Parliament. This position is nothing short of a blatant attempt to undermine President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine.

Sudan: Dengue Outbreak Amid Worsening Health Crisis and Conflict

Per CIA, Sudan has a population of slightly over 50m people with a GDP per capita of $2,500. 

Health authorities revealed an outbreak of dengue fever in the Naqib area of Drudib locality in the Red Sea state, where more than five deaths and more than 200 infections were recorded, amid growing concern about the rapid spread of the disease and the absence of effective intervention. Citizens expressed their fears about the deterioration of the health situation and the weak medical response.

Reports confirmed 11 new cases of cholera, including two deaths, bringing the total to 52,517, with 1,407 deaths. Four new cases of dengue fever were also recorded, bringing the total to 9,283 cases and 16 deaths in the Gedaref and White Nile areas. More than 330,000 displaced people have arrived in the states of Kassala, Gedaref, and River Nile, amid severe shortages of potable water and health services, further complicating the humanitarian crisis.

Sudan is undergoing an ethnic war between “riverine Arabs” from the former ruling class in Khartoum and “Darfur Arabs.” These “Darfur Arabs” were considered backwards and “Africanized” by the former rulers. But “Darfur Arabs” comprise the RSF base and in turn dislike the former Khartoum ruling class. Trump Directs Pentagon and DHS to Prepare Housing for 30,000 Migrants at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba

President Donald Trumpf signed a memo Wednesday that sets in motion preparations for a facility to house thousands of migrants at the US military camp at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, which he said was an effort to “halt the border invasion.”

Trumpf said the US has

“30,000 beds in Guantánamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people.”

Trumpf previewed the directive at a signing ceremony for the Laken Riley Act, an immigration detention measure, saying he would “instruct the departments of Defense and Homeland Security to begin preparing the 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantánamo Bay.”

The Guantánamo Bay announcement caught many officials at the Pentagon off-guard, according to five defense officials. One official said the Guantánamo mission will be a DHS mission. It is unclear whether the military will be involved, but the Pentagon has no orders or guidance from the White House beyond the memo.

Officials who were surprised by Trump’s announcement said they do not know how many beds for migrants are at Guantánamo or whether it would be a short- or a long-term mission. They said there are no plans to upgrade or change the military facilities there.

Beginning in 1991, over 32,000 men, women and children fled Haiti in makeshift boats. Many were pro-democracy activists seeking refuge after a military dictatorship overthrew President Aristide. Intercepted by the US Coast Guard, they came to crowded camps surrounded by barbed wire at Guantánamo to pre-screen their asylum claims.

Somebody on Trumpf’s staff alerted him that Guantanamo Bay once held 32,000 Haitian migrants, which is where he got the number 30,000 for his directive.

There are only a handful of Muslim detainees left in Guantanamo. President Barack Obama made several efforts to close down this tropical torture chamber but was stymied by Republicans in the Congress. This inhumane ukase will be a costly one for the hardworking American taxpayer. The expense of operating a C-17 military transport aircraft is $28,500 per hour. A recent military deportation flight to Guatemala most likely cost at least $4,675 per migrant. Moreover, feeding 30,000 unfortunate souls will be expensive as well. One wonders which Trumpf crony will be awarded the lucrative contract to cater to these poor detainees. No doubt the oligarch will overcharge the US government while providing the refugees gruel.

Trumpf Withdraws Security Details for Several Former VIPs

President Trumpf pulled security from John Bolton, Mike Pompeo, and his assistant John Hook, despite an assassination contract put out by Iran. This is just another example of Trumpf’s vindictive nature to invite political violence against his enemies

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced he is “immediately pulling” retired Gen. Mark Milley’s personal security detail and security clearance. The sycophantic secretary is also directing the new acting Inspector General to conduct a review board to determine if enough evidence exists for Gen. Milley to be stripped of a star in retirement based on his actions to “undermine the chain of command” during President Donald Trump’s first term.

The DoD will also be removing a second portrait of Gen. Milley inside the Pentagon. This one is from the Army’s Marshall Corridor on the third floor honoring his service as chief-of-staff of the Army. This means there will be no more portraits of Gen. Milley inside the Pentagon.

The US State Department announced a $20 million reward for information leading to the arrest of the alleged Iranian mastermind behind a plot to assassinate former White House official John Bolton.

The US designated the entire IRGC a “foreign terrorist organization” in 2019, after previously designating its external operation wing, the Quds Force.

In Aug 2022, US officials uncovered a plot by Shahram Poursafi, a member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), to kill John Bolton, who served as national security adviser to former President Donald Trump. Poursafi allegedly offered an unidentified person inside the US $300,000 to kill Bolton in the capital area. The plan was likely set in motion after the US killing of top IRGC commander Qassem Soleimani in Iraq on 3 Jan 2020 by a drone strike outside Baghdad Int’l Airport (BIAP). The number of Russians signing contracts at Moscow recruitment centers to fight in the war against Ukraine has fallen five-fold since its peak in late summer of last year. The daily number of volunteers signing-up reached a high following Ukraine’s Kursk offensive and the introduction of a one-time payment of 1.9 million rubles ($19,200) shortly before that.

Since then, daily applicants number around 40, a fivefold decrease, citing a source in the Moscow mayor’s office. The composition of applicants has changed, and half of those signing up currently are foreigners of African, Asian, or Chinese origin looking to make extra money, or Russians under investigation in criminal cases.


Russia is currently suffering around 1500-1750 casualties daily on the battlefield, including dead, wounded, and captured, as it continues to make grinding advances in eastern Ukraine in “meat attacks.”

II Ukrainian Strategic Drone Offensive

Ukrainian drones continue destroying strategic targets inside Russia, including an oil refinery, pumping station, and a missile arsenal. Four drones struck the Lukoil oil depot in the city of Kstovo, causing “significant damage.”


All of these targets are hundreds of miles inside Russia, conducted by Ukrainian Special Operations or intelligence personnel (HUR). The Russians were forced to shut down the main pipeline that supplies oil to the Ust-Luga terminal in Leningrad Oblast.

Oscar Jenkins is serving in the 402nd Separate Rifle Battalion, which is part of Ukraine’s 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He went missing on 16 Dec 2024 while on a combat mission near the village of Mykolaivka in Luhansk Oblast. Thought to be executed by the Russians, Australian FM Penny Wong received confirmation from the Kremlin that Jenkins is alive and in custody.

NATO is on course to fulfill its promise to send approximately $41.6 billion in security assistance to Ukraine by the end of the year, NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska said on 29 Jan. Member nations pledged to provide the funding to Ukraine during the NATO summit in Washington, DC in July 2024. The future of US military aid remains uncertain under President Donald Trump who has urged Europe to shoulder more of the financial burden.

Ukraine continues striking strategic targets inside Russia to damage its economy and undermine enemy morale. The word is out on the Russian street about the appalling number of deaths on the Ukrainian front, lowering the number of native Russians seeking military contracts. NATO and the EU are stepping up to fill the void of assistance caused by Vladimir Putin protégé Donald Trump and are executing their contingency plan across the financial, intelligence, and defense spectrum. For example, the US ceded Poland’s air defense command to NATO last year. The Russians would not execute a foreigner like Oscar Jenkins because he has value for any potential prisoner swaps. If a Russian spy is detained in Australia, Moscow and Canberra would conduct a trade.

Ebola Outbreak Strikes Uganda’s Capital

Uganda confirms an Ebola virus outbreak in its capital, Kampala, with the first patient, a nurse, succumbing to the disease. This highly infectious virus spreads through bodily fluids and has claimed 55 lives during a previous outbreak. The health ministry is handling the emerging situation cautiously.

Per CIA, Uganda has nearly 50m people; real GDP per capita is $2,800.

The highly contagious viral infection, which transmits through contact with infected bodily fluids and tissues, causes symptoms such as headaches, muscle pain, and bleeding. Uganda last battled an Ebola outbreak in late 2022, which officially ended on 11 Jan 2023, after claiming 55 lives, including six health workers.

The average Ebola case fatality rate is around 50%. Case fatality rates have varied from 25–90% in past outbreaks, depending on circumstances and the response.

Andrew Taake (36) from Houston, TX was released from prison after being pardoned by Donad Trumpf is now wanted on separate charges of child sex solicitation. He had pleaded guilty in 2023 to beating officers with a metal whip and dousing them with bear spray while storming the Capitol grounds on 6 Jan 2021.

After being turned in by a woman he chatted with on the dating app Bumble, he was sentenced to six years in federal prison plus three years of post-released supervision. But now that he’s free again, Texas prosecutors are seeking him for trial on charges related to text messages he allegedly sent an undercover cop pretending to be a 15-year-old girl back in 2016.

This maniac was already awaiting trial for those messages when he journeyed to the Capitol “ready for violence” in January 2021. Nevertheless, Takke was freed from federal prison despite a formal request from Texas authorities to keep him in custody so that he could be tried for the 2016 charge.

Pardoned 6 Jan Offender Kills Mother of Two While DUI

Another one of Trumpf’s pardons backfired. Emily Hernandez was sentenced to ten years in prison for a deadly drunk driving crash days after being pardoned for her role in the 6 Jan Capitol attack.

The couple just left dinner celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary. Victoria (32) died and Ryan faced serious injuries. The couple has two children, now ages 18 and 13.

UK: Alleged Russian Spy Believed She Was Working for Interpol

A woman accused of spying for Moscow told the Old Bailey she believed she was working for Interpol after a man showed her a fake ID and told her he could enrol her at “police school in Wembley.”

On her first day of giving evidence, London-based beautician Vanya Gaberova (30) said she did not question Bizer Dzhambazov (43) who also told her that untrained people such as her were better at surveillance because they did not stand out in a crowd.

Gaberova said she and Dzhambazov became close in Aug 2021 and gradually started a relationship as he began to give her surveillance tasks around Europe, which prosecutors say were for the benefit of Russia.

Dzhambazov, a medical courier, told her he was part of an Interpol economic crime unit and showed her credentials, which she did not question, and added that he could help her get a job in the police, which she said was an aspiration of hers.

Dzhambazov has already pleaded guilty to spying for Russia, carrying out surveillance tasks as part of a spy ring run by his friend Orlin Roussev, based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
